So the meat packing plant is on lockdown for a bomb threat? Is that normal procedure? When I worked in a building that received bomb threats, they would evacuate everyone, not put the building on lockdown.

Maybe the perps didn't know the exact time frame for the delivery, but knew that sometime around Weds./Thurs., there would be a large amount of cash at the house. Possibly they knew or heard that SS would be paying someone on Thursday or using the money for a purchase.

Assuming the $40,000 was really for the martial arts center, the perps may have found out about it from someone other than NG. If SS had construction workers, cleaning people, etc. working at the center and was paying them in cash, then one of them might have blabbed about it.
