Hey y'all!
I am hoping some that have continued to follow The WM3 and/or the case after their release might be able to help me.
I was an avid supporter of The WM3 from the day that I saw the first Paradise Lost documentary on HBO (which I know many are not and I am not here to discuss...
:floorlaugh: You're killing me over here! :floorlaugh: Thank you though, I'm finding it a great distraction from my, umm, frustration on the board today.
That said, I do agree with you for the most part. However, in MY vast experience in a prior life as a pothead, there came a time when...
IMO, if given the choice to walk on a rain soaked lawn (especially wearing new birthday tennis shoes -- teens are, IMO and personal experience (my son who is a tennis shoe freak), VERY particular about their tennis shoes) and a wet sidewalk, taking a teen's care for their shoes into...
IMO, it can only be speculated upon how someone reacts/may react to medications/illegal drugs (unless the person voicing their opinion was the person taking said medications/illegal drugs, of course). And as far as marijuana, I can tell you for a fact that it effects people in different ways...
And we go back to my original point... IMO, for whatever reason for the purpose of making my point, TM ran. He had ample time to get to his father's residence and (if he was, in fact, scared) safety. He was (per R?) "right behind his father's residence". For what other reason would TM not have...
IMO there are only two reasons why someone would run from someone in the situation presented -- either they were "scared" (although is has mostly been stated that TM was "in fear for his life", I'll go with "scared" to quote you) or they were up to no good.
Again, JMO.
IMO, if GZ's state of mind is of relevance in this case so is TM's. They are using GZ's past to insinuate a certain state of mind at the time of the incident. TM's should be as well in order for GZ to have a fair/impartial trial.
Again, JMO.
:twocents:
IMO, if TM ran twice, he had MORE than ample time to run home to his father's residence, especially since GZ lost sight of him. R? (the friend on the phone with TM at the time) stated that TM said that (paraphrasing) "he was right behind his father's residence". A HUGE ? for me is...
After having lived in Miami for 20 years (74-94) and having made a trip back when my father passed in 2008-2009 (ICR, we were not close) one thing that I know for sure after taking my son who was 4 when we moved on a "walk down Mom's memory lane" things have drastically changed in A LOT of...
I live in Kissimmee (Sanford is on the other side of Orlando from me) and agree. I have personally overheard local conversations and seen quite a few tweets threatening violence if GZ is not convicted. Having been through something similar in Miami (the May of 1980 riots in response to the...
The only time I was ever offended by it was when it was said while I was being intimidated by, being touched in private places by, being shoved around by or having the jewelry ripped off of my neck by a person saying it.
But then again I was 15-17 at the time. A lot has changed in terms of...
I also grew up in FL. South FL, N.W. Miami area, to be more precise. I lived within the school district where students had to go to Miami Central Senior High School which is in Liberty City. The area, in the 80's, was predominantly African American as was the high school that I went to.
While...
