MS - Jessica Chambers, 19, found burned near her car, Panola County, 6 Dec 2014 - #4

They need someone to talk, someone who actually knows. If they had that, I think they would already have made an arrest. Cases sit for years because the people who know are too intimidated to spill until the perp is dead or moves away. After two full weeks I can't help but think this might be...

MS - Jessica Chambers, 19, found burned near her car, Panola County, 6 Dec 2014 - #4

Gray Matter, thanks for the analysis, all of it. I feel like I am missing part of whatever has gone down here in the last 12 hours, but I appreciate the posts I was able to read from you. The longer they take to make an arrest, the more I think they simply don't have much to go on. Look how...

Never mind, I answered my own question here: http://www.ncsl.org/research/telecommunications-and-information-technology/confidentiality-of-911-call-recordings.aspx 911 calls are kept confidential in six states, one of which is Mississippi.

MS - Jessica Chambers, 19, found burned near her car, Panola County, 6 Dec 2014 - #3

Two things though: 1) I thought her battery was separated from her phone. How would she call 911? 2) 911 calls are a matter of public record. There have probably been multiple media requests for the recording. Unless I am mistaken, can't the authorities be compelled to release the recording?

If AA is a scapegoat, it's of his own doing. His showboating and fronting on social media draws a LOT of negative attention, and he certainly is not shying away from the attention even now. He hasn't even scrubbed the negative images from his profile. If I were in fear of death threats, the...

MS - Jessica Chambers, 19, found burned near her car, Panola County, 6 Dec 2014 - #3

I don't believe this was a wreck. Why would her phone be separated from her battery, or her for that matter? And as someone before me eloquently stated, the FBI doesn't investigate car accidents. I have to admit it is a little disappointing to come here and find everyone's hands are so tied...

MS - Jessica Chambers, 19, found burned near her car, Panola County, 6 Dec 2014 - #2

When I watched the video of him, I was less than impressed with his demeanor. He acted bored and sounded like he had found a dead deer in the middle of the road.

Family wants to keep life support for girl brain dead after tonsil surgery #7

In light of all of the discussion about how the media and newspeople are not reporting events and the medical situation accurately, I found this article (especially the bit I've quoted below) today positively refreshing...

Family wants to keep life support for girl brain dead after tonsil surgery #6

Thanks for the welcome, K_Z. Long time listener, first time caller ... this discussion is too compelling for me to simply lurk anymore. The information you have shared is fascinating, thank you. I wonder if the family themselves even know what today's surgeries entailed, considering they have...

Family wants to keep life support for girl brain dead after tonsil surgery #6

Thanks, Yoda (love the avatar, btw). I have been lurking and am pretty up to speed on this board, but there is so much still unanswered that we can only speculate. I have learned a lot from reading the (mostly) thoughtful and intelligent posts here.

Family wants to keep life support for girl brain dead after tonsil surgery #6

According to the Flori report, diabetes insipidus set in when her brain ceased to function. It is not actually related to diabetes mellitus, type 1 or 2, but I suspect she had type 2 based on her size and other comorbidities.

Family wants to keep life support for girl brain dead after tonsil surgery #6

A couple of questions, which I have not seen specifically addressed: 1) So if she had these surgeries "successfully" today, did they put her under anesthesia or ... what? How exactly would that work as far as pain meds ... I shudder to think but I need to know. 2) When Jahi's family was...
