Found Deceased IA - Mollie Tibbetts, 20, Poweshiek County, 19 Jul 2018 #15

My take on today's cancelling of tomorrow's scheduled PC conference; how would they know they wouldn't have any new information by tomorrow, vs. instead actually having new information that they're not yet ready to share? Perhaps hopeful thinking. Also, even with no new info it seems these...

I am certain that I saw mentioned on one of these threads that a friend drove BB home from the fishing trip location. I can't begin to know where to find that now (17 threads!), and can't verify the info myself through another source. Anyone else?

That's interesting. Pictures I've seen (including the one where she's holding a weight, maybe that's the one where she's flexing that you're referring to?) I just thought she looked strong, toned, and fit. In other pictures that seem to be from around the same time frame, where she is not...

Perhaps he also thought NOT bringing in a bloodstained shirt would cause an even bigger uproar; if it were found in a trash bin, for instance.

Would be a good reason to want all of the protection too. (I recognized my "pregnant walk" as well!)

Something else I've wondered about (and I think I saw this mentioned before, too), is why did the first 911 calls come in at 5am, which I believe was class start time? In my 15 years of teaching fitness (more years if including just attending), I will say that never once have the first students...

For me, too, it's a big question; how did the perp get away? Having such a clear-cut and documented timeline in this case has only generated more speculation. One idea is the perp stayed on site and stored the gear in a bag. Wouldn't a crime scene such as this be shut down, people talked to...

I don't think any non-deviant person could carry on as usual, but then they wouldn't plan and carry out something like this in the first place, either, IMO. This case is perhaps extra disturbing because we "know" more than nothing (the videos), but not enough to really know anything at all.

I pulled this quote out of your post...great point. Helmet would also limit field of vision...two senses you'd think a burglar would not want to have compromised, but for a perp waiting to commit a planned attack, not as important perhaps as the protection it provides.

One thing I'm thinking is if this perp thought to leave some items/tools/whatever it was behind, they wouldn't want to be carting around that getup, either. What if the "saran wrap/level/folded papers" was indeed saran wrap, or large plastic baggies? The perp could deglove, put the...

I've been wondering how close to the church, easily accessible, big (wide/deep), and fast moving this creek is, especially with all of the rain there lately. Specifically; could the perp have ditched the gear in the creek? Has the creek and surrounding area been checked? I'd think probably...

Yes, I agree...nothing is impossible! The original post asked for thoughts on this...and I thought that original post would be included in my reply. Still getting used to maneuvering around this board. :o

My opinion is the perp will end up being either someone who wanted to be her, or be with her. And is clearly unstable, so when they realized their want wouldn't be realized, they acted out, horribly.

My thought tends towards no, simply because, while this discipline is certainly challenging for many folks, it is not near the workout that, IMO, somebody who was abusing steroids would even think about wasting their time with. In my experience (and from what can be seen on FB and the web of...

I thought the same thing (maybe a WS person)! I'm know I've missed a lot myself...so much to read! Very interesting info on a well-run board. Glad I found this place, can't believe it took me so long. On another note; so, so much has been speculated about the gait..."gait-gate". I'm...

BBM: Somebody on here did notice that, someone with personal experience wearing one. Sorry whomever you are, I can't remember your screen name and no way am I scrolling back to look for it! ;) But, that was mentioned.

Thank you for the clarification. I still do wonder, though, that if whatever was left behind (do we know?) was originally found by the perp on-site. Less to carry, and could only be traced back to the church (barring perp DNA). On another note, I wondered from the get-go if that car parked in...

:thinking:LOL. I've read about the room 12 but didn't notice it myself, will have to review. The room I'm talking about is right before the perp then walks straight across the hallway (whole thing is pretty close to camera) and starts "hammering" at the glass (at least you see glass landing on...

I have wondered if some of the "tools"/items left were actually found on-site. In one video the perp exits a room from behind a closed door, and before the door swings shut I see trash cans and thought a) bathroom? (and really, did they actually use the bathroom???) or b) more likely a...

And IMO if this was a planned burglary with such a relatively elaborate "outfit", the perp would've also planned out the most important part of it all, as in they would've known where to find the money. And if it wasn't planned, then what's with the "outfit"? Doesn't jive. MOO.
