The texts on the 25th really are the tech “finger” that keeps pointing back at her known associates. Otherwise with the ping you might be inclined to think that it might be in fact random. But those texts loom large and IMO make anything random very unlikely

Could be. Or there’s nothing new to report. It feels near to that point where either there’s a major break in the case that’s being withheld or the trail is going cold. With the facts as they are known to us my tendency is to be pessimistic. But LE have amazing resources and interagency...

They have very purposefully not cleared him IMO. The press conferences did nothing but draw attention to PF and I think LE intended that. The labels (suspect, POI) are semantics in this case. I think it’s obvious how they are treating him.

PF has handled things pretty well if you’re talking in terms of protecting himself from self incrimination. Great job. He’s done nothing else publicly except protect himself. No visits to in any way draw attention to the search for KB. Only to the lawyer, and the dump. For himself. All caveats...

That’s my understanding. Nothing between the 22nd and the 25th. And nothing after the 25th. And just the two texts on the 25th.

They have their reasons. It’s a clue and in a case with not many of them I’m hopeful it’s a good one. And PF might very well be innocent. But LE did NOTHING to dissuade suspicion on him and I would argue even not so subtly encouraged it. So not the same as the MT case, no matter how many times...

I would be surprised if they don’t have an exhaustive list of those records. If it truly is that KB had contact on the 22nd, and her phone texted people on the 25th...but between the 22nd and the 25th there’s no contact with anyone and after the 25th there’s no contact then it would seem likely...

It might have been possible. I would think by now, with this being national news, she would have contacted LE to let them know she’s done this of her own volition and is safe. Unless she is running from more than just what you mentioned. But no evidence yet makes that seem like what happened
