TX - Mona Nelson charged w/ Murder of Jonathan Foster, 12, Houston, 24 Dec 2010 #12

BBM. Isn't this similar to what she told police in this case? That someone else (DD) asked her to do it but that she was scared for her safety? What a bunch of crap! I also noticed in that article that police said Jonathan's body was burned with the torches post mortem. Has there been any...

Yet there are so many murders so unfortunately it doesn't stop enough people. I remember when I was following the Jonathan Foster case, 2 other bodies were discovered around the same area at the same time his was found. So sad, but so glad that it is a death penalty state, especially because...

I think cluciano63 is assuming Billie got pregnant at 16 because Hailey's brother is 16, which means she would have given birth to him at age 17.

That totally makes sense. This picture, to me, is very telling as to the family dynamics and Hailey possibly feeling pushed aside/left out. IMO...

It is my understanding that family and close friends of a missing person are not allowed to go on official searches because they could either have something to do with the disappearance and hurt the investigation, or they may find some disturbing evidence.

OMG!! :furious: Animals are helpless and anyone who would beat a cat with a baseball bat will do that to a person as well so why is this not illegal? Having marijuana in your possession could land you in jail, but not torturing a defenseless animal?! That makes me so sick.

That's exactly what my DH said. He comes from a family of hunters and has experience hunting deers, etc. He said if a chainsaw was used, SA wasn't planning on eating the deer he just killed, probably just killed for the thrill. :( ETA: I didn't see your post Thetruthwillsetyoufree before I...

I could not tell you everything that's under my bed- well I know what's under my side- containers of stored winter clothes, etc. but my hubby's side has misc. junk that he shoves under when vacuuming as a lazy attempt at cleaning up lol. Not that he has anything weird under there, just saying I...

I appreciate you taking the time to address some of the things in the affidavits. I know this must be incredibly hard for you and you are being such a loyal friend. About the "New Year's Party," was SA at the house and why does LE think it was a party? Do you know anything about...

I can't believe all of this and I have to say that BD really had me fooled. :thud: I'm so impressed with those of you who saw this before recent information! Some thoughts I have: I'm not convinced that the crime documents they found at their home is evidence of her guilt. As many of...

I'm wondering why, after talking to the kids at school, LE was so convinced she had run away when they had all of this. Was all of this discovered since then? Were these affidavits just filed today?

WTH?!! Like others have said, I couldn't even function if my dog was missing!! Having a party when her daughter is missing is unbelievable!

I think she meant lost, as in Hailey is lost right now. She was defending her parenting skills, and I believe she was stating she was doing the best she could, despite the fact that, under her guardianship, her daughter became lost. IMO.

What drugs did she use? I thought it was medication that was prescribed to her?? Was there some illegal drug activity that I don't know about?

 I can't imagine a grown woman acting in a threatening manner like this. Are there any problems with gangs in this area?
