Yes, she has been getting some funny ones and deleting them.

It's not possible to delete someone else's tweet, unless it is a DM (direct message). A DM is a private message that can only be send if the receiver is friends with you - so to send Dr. Reichs a private message, she would have to follow your twitter account. The public messages send to Dr. Reichs about the status hearing are all still there. There are several that spell the situation out for her, and - assuming she looks at her mentions - it must be clear to her that Baez needs to speak to her. People even tweeted her his phone #.

IMO, the new information JB has is the new defense strategy He wants her to go back and write up the report he never wanted back when we had money to pay her, except he wants her to say the state experts didn't follow protocol this time.
He thinks it worked when he blurted out that Dr S found Dr G didn't follow protocol except.........there's no report saying that. There's also no Dr S and I can promise you he won`t be up and ready to be writing reports in time for the March deadline either. Even if he is IMO, a near death experience may have tempered his desire to play devils advocate for ICA.
I`m predicting no further reports and the defense will then blame the judge but meanwhile they never had these experts to start. Of course BP already knows this and has prepared for their next set of excuses.

Am I wrong in thinking that no professional expert or lab is going to be particularly thrilled by this sort of presentation to the courts concerning themselves and their work? I mean does it simply reflect poorly on not just the lawyers but also to some degree the lab itself when they start getting phone calls from the presiding judge wondering where the heck the DNA tests that were supposed to be done in November are? And what do you mean March?

In much the same way I am sure that Kathy Reich is a skilled consummate professional. The very implication that she is away enjoying herself on a Tahitian vacation while she has open or incomplete case work for JB has got to be horrifyingly offensive to her. As is the implication that she would blow off or ignore a client, or even worse choose to do a slower or half ass'ed job for an indigent client. I can't see her reacting favorably to anything from JB or CM at this point. Does anyone think that she would have scheduled such a trip if she had had any contact from the defense or inkling that her services were still needed? I am guessing that the last she heard from them was 2 years ago.

I think after the phone call from the judge, and all of the implications from JB that Dr. Logan will want to use JB as part of a demonstration on forensically examining a victim of heavy trauma.

It will be interesting if JB does manage to herd all of these experts into a back room at the hotel. It wouldn't surprise me if they opt to beat the holy h377 out of him, duct tape him and drop him down the hotel trash chute. "What happens at AAFS stays at AAFS" :trout:

I suspect that all these defense experts were lined up way back when Linda Kenney-Baden and Andrea Lyon were still on the case. And there was still money available to the defense.

I also suspect that after the initial "deal" for $200,000 with ABC that Baez somehow thought there would be plenty more to follow. How else would the Lawyer Macaluso (?) be convinced to "donate" $80,000 of his own funds to the "the cause"?

Apparently the initial purchase of photos and videos was enough for the media because no one has bought anything since. At least not from Jose. That we know of.

I think Kenney-Baden and Lyons leaving the case was a big tip off to some of these experts. Certainly for Dr. Henry Lee, who also was not returning Baez's phone calls.

Beyond any of that, those of us who have been regular viewers of CourtTV/True TV over the years have seen many an expert taken apart on the stand. Both prosecution experts and defense experts. Including Drs. Spitz and Lee!

Following the hearing on the 27th, the Judge decided on the lab. Click here to download the Judge's order.

WHEN did JB present the contact person to JA?

This was also discussed during a hearing, but I'm not sure yet what date. Mr. Ashton told the court he was waiting for Jose to give him the name of the contact person. That name needed to be on the stipulation and without signing the stipulation the items could not be shipped. I'm thinking this was the status hearing on November 29, 2010. The DNA was definitely mentioned then, Judge Perry ordered that the review of DNA evidence would be completed within 45 days. Did not have time yet to watch the hearing again. During a telephonic hearing with the JAC on November 18, 2010. Click here for a WFTV article (raw video of hearing included in article). The Judge issued an order about this on the 18th, but I don't think that one was posted online.

This was discussed during the last status hearing. Baez said it was submitted by the sheriff's office on December 3, 2010. The DNA Testing Stipulations were filed on December 7, 2010. Click here for the PDF on WESH.

But she has an easy way to see who is talking to her: If she logs onto twitter, she can click a section that's called 'mentions'. That's a list of all the tweets mentioning her twitter name with an @ in front of it.

If we want to see all the tweets mentioning Dr. Reichs, we have to use the search function. There is no other way to see them all on the same page, since they are all written by different people.

I believe you are correct...Kobilinski and Spitz, Reichs and Lee were all on board by December 2008 (they all visited the remains site along with Baez and LKB, iirc) and IMO LKB was instrumental in getting them on board..
