2011.01.25 Defense Requests More Time to Submit Expert Reports

Sounds like Linda Kenny Baden brought her on board 12/08. You know, back when JB had some money to spend.

However, IIRC---HE WASN'T going to share any of the money with them...they all were "pro-bono" (which at this time is a very laughable word to me, my meaning of it vs. the "team" meaning":maddening---

And so things get interesting again across the next 10 days or so as we hit 3 Defense expert deadlines ... :waitasec:

• Option 1: JB defaults once again with yet another excuse?
• Option 2: Expert names start to get retired?
• Option 3: JB provides a partial response?
• Option 4: JB provides a full response in compliance with the Court

Based on the Defense filing of a new witness list and the SAO immediately motioning to strike ... it sounds like JB is still trying to play 'hide the expert' with an undisclosed testimony in a bunch of noise in order to achieve that desired shocker at trial.

Trial by ambush is his style .... we all surmised when Caylee was not found that JB would pull a stunt and announce the appearance of Caylee at trial. While it would be a 'look alike' the stunt would sway the Jury in that moment, that they believed Caylee could be alive. JB wants the same effect.

If Ms belich is a defense witness, then perhaps she wouldn't be allowed in the courtroom until she testifies. If she were last on the defense's list of witnesses called or was cancelled at the end of the defense case, it would be very difficult for her to report on Mr Baez's daily antics. Perhaps the defense doesen't want Kathi B sitting in court watching them work?
