I think Judge Perry needs to see this news report ASAP!!!!

OMG - of all the days for that story to appear, it had to be today. This, to me is a perfect example of KARMA! I bet the reporter on this story had no idea that Dr. Logan was AWOL from the Caylee case, when he put this report together.

And I can't resist adding "You just can't make this stuff up!

I really can't stand it that Baez squeaked by yet AGAIN. I know he's basically washed up and this case is not going to go well for him...but I've never seen someone get so many "second" chances. If it was any other profession, he'd be through. Disgraceful.

Dr. S has until March 11, 2011 4pm, for Baez to get that report in...also if the other three don't have their reports in by, February 21. 2011 4pm...their testimony will NOT be used at trial...

I do believe His Honor is well aware of the stalling tactics used by Baez and he is onto his game...JMHO

Ok. Going back through the request for extension, JB states he has turned over reports from Bock, furton, Eikenbloom, Fairgrieve, and Huntington. The only report I can find in that pile of...paper is from Bock. Am I missing something or is JB trying to confuse the word report?

"...the defense believes his schedule is simply the reason..."
And now I wonder if HHJBP asking about telephones is a way to let JB know he knows that Logan was successfully contacted via phone for the WFTV article?

WFTV bought a powder called "Charge" from Pipe Dreams 2 on North Orange Blossom Trail and sent it to Wuestoff Labs in Melbourne, and then bought "Bliss" from the G-Spot on Colonial Drive and sent it to NMS Labs in Pennsylvania.

Both labs found the same stimulant, MDPV, which is known to cause psychosis, spike heart rate, and trigger heart attacks.

"There have been deaths associated with it," said Dr. Barry Logan, NMS Labs.

I SO wish that yesterday when Judge Perry gave those timelines for handing in those reports, that he would have added;

"Not 4:01PM, or 4:02PM, but on the spot, no later than 4PM"

"If there is someone ahead of you, you better bust out your wallet and pay your way to the front of the line.
Turn on your TV in the morning and get a road report, and also double check it at noon, and 1PM, 2PM, 3PM and 3:30PM. Do a quick mapquest and put together a couple of alternative routes to the courthouse in case you need to take a detour.
4PM it is ~ PERIOD, and not a second beyond that".

ITA! I believe he even warned JB at the hearing when he told him/them they should know he researches everything and knows everything in their case files.
I believe he was verifying every single statement JB made to the court Friday and when he discovers which I have no doubt he will, that JB has left no messages or voice mails, nor has he insisted on written reports to meet a deadline, or otherwise spoken with these experts in months, the carp will hit the fan.
I believe BP has a responsibility to all the citizens of Florida and it isn't in their best interest that this particular lawyer be removed right now. It may be in ICA's best interest, and if she didn't have an entire team of lawyers, with an extra 3 more expected come trial per CM then there might be some urgency in ensuring she had a competent one. She does, it just isn't the lead attorney.

I think you are spot on! He tried but JBP would not allow the reports because he missed the deadline. The deadline can only be moved so many times. I think he needs more sanctions!!

I hope that he requests a complete report and not an one or two sentence email, that he said he could get while she was in Tahiti.

How much do you want to make a bet, when these reports from these experts are due, (if turned in) they will still be missing parts of the required order?

After watching this hearing again, I have come to the conclusion that HHJBP is well aware that JB does not have these experts nor has he had any contact with them.
As another poster pointed out, AL probably got these experts, retained at a minimal rate. IMO JB has not kept up with these experts, either with evidence or payment and now they are no longer indebted to him to act in expert witness capacity.
Hopefully, there will be a hearing called for Friday where HHJBP will ask JB for the status on the status of the DNA. Then, after alot of hemming and hawing, JB will come up with some lame excuse and HHJBP will tell him what HE found out when he called all of the experts.
