D. Simms: did you identify every single plant life at the scene? When you got there most plant life had been removed from the surface area?
Yes

D. Simms: poision Ivy can grow up to two mil meters in a month.

d. Simms: creeping oxye rate can be two mil meters in six weeks.

witness: that is correct. it depends where you are measuring the root.

KC is in the courtroom wearing a plaid shirt under a solid grey sweater. Her hair is up is a strange ponytail-type do. She is cracking her fingers and looks a bit stressed. DS is seated beside her and they are not talking to each other.

BBM.

Don't shoot me but I really like what she's wearing. This might be the first time I can say that.

I would like to watch today but I'm just too swamped! Looking forward to catching up later!

Have fun everyone!

I can hear the witness! YaY.

I did not. I averaged the width of the majority that was found in the photograph.

D. Simms: 90% of the roots you did not document.

only roots that had their scale.

Listening to DS is absolutely confusing. Why was she even allowed to come on board for this criminal case when her only experience is civil law.

Geeze, Dr. Hall....keep up the good work.

CM is rubbing his eyes.

no I have not. I have designed such experiments but have not found a place to set them up.

d. Simms: you would like to do it at the body farm right?

witness: yes.

plant growth through bone is what she is asking him if he has experience in. or solely measuring a root by a picture: was that ever a subject of a lecture of yours.

no never a subject of a lecture.

Tend to agree, she now blends with her surroundings, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb as she has previously. Much more professional and appropriate.

What was that comment about scale - was that a trick answer - I have the feeling it was - was there something special about these roots.

I can hear the DT coaching ICA AND CA, on sensitive testimony, just don't look up...

Jeff Ashton objects to DCS question about roots growing through bone research.

Hard to get DS's point ever, IMO. She is boring and confusing.
