Is JB acting like an idiot on purpose??? Isn't there something where Casey can file for a new trial or an appeal because of misrepresentation if found guilty - or is JB just that stupid?

Can someone explain to me how George can say in depo he did not put duct tape on and now he said he did? Are there more gas cans? Were the gas cans taken more than once?

JB is questioning him about one picture when GA was talking about a different pic and different duct tape when questioned before. Not lying. JB is just trying to do a bait and switch on the photos.

I assume (and trust me, I'm very confoosed at this point) that they need Tony to identify the gas can before it can be brought into evidence. Since Tony and ICA together took it out of the shed after breaking into it.

Photos taken at different times and tape was different in its placement between the photos.

Wasn't one piece a lot longer than another too?

Yes he is. This testimony matches his original recorded statements, etc. to LEO. The depositions were when he was trying to confuse and deflect away from his CEO daughter.

Here is the thing with all of this though.

He was being evasive with the whole duct tape issue and he said something completely different on the stand then what he said in a statement to the FBI, and he used plural to talk about the tape on the gas cans. He never said anythng about one and not the other. Now it is a different one.

The jury ony know what they just hears in court . The picture probably confused them but they are probably wondering the same thing I am why george said gas cans and not can. IMO

No doubt!! None of these people had any idea when any of this was going on that they would need to remember everything they saw and every breath they took for a murder trial.

ETA: Not to mention the defense had caused this to drag on for 3 years!! I don't remember much of what went on that was every day stuff from 3 years ago and until the baby was officially "missing" no one had a reason to log everything they saw years ago when it was happening.

JB does not understand evidentiary law - nor does he understand the proper court procedure nor does he understand that HE CANNOT ENTER EVIDENCE into the proceedings. He cannot question a witness using evidence that has not been entered by the state.

This will take more than any 8 weeks. This will take at least 3 months ! At this rate, summer will be over by the time we get a verdict. OML

I question if Baez understands the law or is it that Baez WANTS to conduct the trial HIS WAY..with little regard to the Judge and the Law.

The Judge has told Baez on numerous occasions that trial by ambush is not allowed in Florida and I can not get it out of my mind that is exactly what Baez is still trying to do.
