I never thought JB could be so chivalrous, holding the door open for JA like he did! :loser:

Does it bother anyone else that the attorneys keep referring to GA's suicide attempt as "the suicide"

Humm.. probably some weird way they related the letter to the death of his credibility.

Okay, I posted the same question, but I think I see what's going on here. JP is giving this bit of DT "argument" to say that the suicide note is relevant to both sides, and thus to allow it in.

Yep! That would allow it in

Please tell me wtf judge perry is doing???!! WHY did he say he's guilt ridden over molestation of his daughter??!!!!

I think that in a back-handed kind of way he was stating why the DT doesn't want the note submitted--because it doesn't support that interpretation. (At least I hope that's the case....)

I had to tend my dogs, was GA still in there while they were discussing the note?

GA didnt have any tears. There was not wetness on his face. I thought it looked like Casey learned from him. Except he held his breath to make his face red.

When people cry the redness starts in small location and slowly spreads ,he just turned red from not breathing.

OMG, I so disagree. I saw a truly broken man barely making it thru each new day.........unbearable pain....

Door was opened by #josebaez and invited #jeffashton to walk on it. #judgeperry knows & will let it in. @vinniepolitan @drdrew #caseyanthony

the rebuttal case is going to be beautiful... all these doors that were opened... :rocker:

I really hope that GA is going to have some sort of psychological support available to him between JA's cross and the SAO's CIC rebuttal... That is a broken man, and I feel for him.

I know it was wrong for him to stand up for ICA for as long as he did, but isn't he making it right now? GA's helping Caylee get her justice, and that makes him awesome in my eyes.

We are watching and will continue to watch George's "Come To Jesus" moment. He has been forced to face his denials of ICA's guilt - finally and publicly.

I just wept for him when he said he didn't need a break he just needs to get through this and get it out.

I also think Lee's testimony yesterday was something of a wake-up call for George. Even CA looked somewhat combative at Baez this morning, Although it's too late for her to do this turn around.IMO.

HHJP is not helping the defense-he is pointing out that DT was using the suicide attempt as an indication that George was regretful and feeling guilty. They cannot have it both ways-we want to implicate him but dont give the jury any details so they can see it for what it really was.

So is he allowed to ask about the gun or not? Does he have to wait until rebuttal?

  • #2,715

THAT was subtle?????
:floorlaugh:

You opened the door Mr Baez and Mr Ashton wants to walk in....
:floorlaugh:

Drive a Mack Truck through it, Ashton!!! Justice for Caylee!!

  • #2,716
Anybody have any doubt now that in ICA's mind, Caylee was shown more attention, therefore Caylee must pay the ultimate price with her life? I will state again that I believe that Caylee was killed solely to spite CA. :(

The only thought I have is: How could she do this to her family?

  • #2,718
George has been many things in the past -- henpecked, complicit in covering for KC's lies, in gross denial, weak.....

But to watch this human being tortured and have his soul exposed and ripped to his very core is absolutely atrocious. I know that only a <modsnip> could watch this happen after telling him to his face that he was the "best father and grandfather there was"!

I have to say, I am more convinced than ever that KC needs to be put to death. It is the only way that this family won't have to live with the fact she has destroyed them -- WILLINGLY and EMPHATICALLY and beg for future jail visits with her (only to be shut down again and again). With her gone for good they can heal the gaping wounds she has left in them. They can move on with life as best as they can. Not that they will ever forget her, but they won't have to see her and relive their pain every single second of the day.

She absolutely has convinced HERSELF that they are all responsible for this -- not her. THEY made her kill Caylee.

This <modsnip> is Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Aileen Wournos all wrapped together. There are NO WORDS in the dictionary (and never should be) for someone as deranged, detached and murderous as Casey Anthony.

Aileen Wournos was more sympathetic IMHO - make no mistake, she deserved what she got but at least her abuse was real (and horrendous). This chick - ughhh - there are no words for the revulsion

Im not so sure hes doing such a bad job, hes not as experienced as JA and his crew but he did stick with her all these years. JMO

Why did he stick with her? For her benefit? NO, for His own benefit.
He's a glory seeker not an officer of the court.

JB said "Mr Ashton didn't object to me bringing it up" Proves he has deliberately been getting his comments in. At times DEPENDING on JA to object so that JA can't use it but getting his comments in anyway.
