I can't make sense of not presenting the geofence data, which resulted in the FBI contacting witnesses in the months following the murders.

His phone not being on there is strong evidence that Allen was not on his phone as he claimed (checking stock quotes). It's just really strange not to delve into that.
Maybe his phone did ping there at some point that day?

Sorry I must have missed that. I just got settled in at the ranch cabin and haven't had time to get caught up.

If these lawyers don't think the Odinist theory is possible how can they support it being presented to the jury. It seems like this theory is being presented by the defense to confuse the jury and not give them factual evidence. JMO.
Because fairness and due process demands that a defendant be able to put on his defense, even if it’s not a very good defense.

I wonder if he was never listened to before the murders. It seems like they won’t listen to him and his cries for help.

It raises questions of how many Red Flags were missed by the over bearing people in his life.

IMO

I'm not sure about him. I don't know enough about him yet. It's possible that he likes to manipulate people (in this case the women in his life) to do things for him and provide him with the praise and emotional support he liked. He knew how to play on their guilt and emotions.

Now that he's in jail awaiting trial for these terrible crimes, he desperately needs to keep them in his corner. He wants to confess, but he wants them to keep stroking his ego, defending him and doing things for him, telling him he's a good guy and didn't do anything wrong. Killers are usually sociopaths who know how to manipulate people into helping them.

I think he played a similar game with the prison psychologist, playing like he was mentally ill or having a breakdown so she would pay attention to him, believe him and support him. He wanted her to be his ally. I think it will take a while to figure this guy out.

You are right about that !

This Defense team has played dirty since the beginning.

JMO
I can never forgive them for allowing the crime scene photos to be released on the internet. Never. That's the worst thing any defense attorney could do. JMO, it was not an accident.

Well, it's not an air-tight case for the prosecution and I wanted desperately to see some data/geo-fence evidence or something along those lines. However, portraying the entire Indiana legal system, prison system, and LE as corrupt, (AND possibly suggesting Odinists committed this crime) is about as unbelievable as it gets.

So far on the reporting, it seems like RA's search history is a bit of a dud:

"Months before an interview with police on Oct. 13, 2022 that led to Richard Allen's arrest later that month, Allen was searching online for disturbing movies to watch and frequently looked up the Delphi murders, according to a later analysis of his search history by the Indiana State Police.

On May 24, 2022, Allen did a Google search for "deeply disturbing and terrifying movies on Netflix." That same day, he searched "Texas elementary school shooting suspect." The next month, he searched for the "most f----- up thing to watch on Netflix right now.""

Edited to put in correct link
Really? LMAO this is what the State wanted to show?? This is comical! He lived pretty close to the crime scene, I'd bet most people, even those who lived further away googled the crime. He searched for movies... on netflix? Oh the horror! He wanted info about a school shooter? Good grief. I'm surprised they didn't go after him for music he may have listened to - heaven forbid if he liked anything other than classical piano. Mooooo

His original interviews are testimony enough when he said over 20 times that he didn't do it.

25 times I think.

JMO MOO JMT
And his 60+ confessions that he DID do it are Testimony enough, plus admitting he was there, at the bridge that day, plus knowing about the Van, that "interrupted" his SA on 2 Innocent girls so then he felt he had to Slice their Throats.

It would be quite interesting if he took the stand, but IMO, I do not see that happening.

<modsnip>

He is a loose cannon.- They won't risk it.

These ones are a bit more interesting:

On Oct. 2, 2022, weeks before his arrest, Allen clicked a link for "65+ best kidnapping and hostages movies ever made," according to the ISP analysis conducted in December 2022. That same day, Allen also entered the following searches: "movie about a man being held against his will," "man held hostage by teen" and "Stalker 2012," an apparent reference to a film about a mentally unstable homeless man who tries to save his friends from drug dealers.

On Oct. 5, 2022, Allen searched "Delphi murders." He had searched "Delphi murders update" five times in the first week of August 2022.
He searched for scary movies. In October... of 2022. Good grief. I bet loads of people have done the same thing, especially over the Halloween season. Mooo.

Its a shame he did, otherwise, doubt we'd ever have gone to trial - moo.
If it turns out he is guilty of the crimes then it is a blessing that he admitted to being on the bridge that afternoon. I'd hate for the killer to get away with these brutal murders. JMO

Richard Allen is a special case. Accused of a heinous kidnapping and double murder that destroyed a small town’s innocence a crime which news of was nation wide.

Richard Allen is notorious. There isn’t another case in Indiana I could say the name of the suspect from my far away location.

I invite Mr Allen to come on down to the Deep South and see how he likes the conditions. He’s in the Hilton with concierge compared to Mississippi.

All imo
There is no justification for any inmates being treated as he was in any corrections facility imo. None. It was (as I showed with an earlier link) - besides my personal feelings on how he was treated, it was illegal per Indiana Law per a link I shared upthread.

That's what I thought, too. It'd be more eye popping if his searches were similar to the Gilgo Beach killer's. What's reported on so far aren't that alarming.

Interesting. So a defendant can give the jury any kind of information that will give them reasonable doubt and obtain an acquittal. There's no limits of any kind for what the defense can give the jury?

Not uncommon behaviour….we see it a lot in prison, usually as a part of a protest but not always

Thank you...
I was JUST going to ask if anyone with professional experience has witnessed such behavior...

Approximately how often...
And... under what circumstances!

I had a feeling this was not completely uncommon...
Nor limited to only prisoners diagnosed as not competent...

JMO....
