Certainly possible that the death caps weren't distributed evenly. But, assuming the fungi were powdered and added the duxelles, then I think Erin would have made sure to stir thoroughly allowing the fungi powder to diffuse through the mixture.

If you've ever tried adding, say, chile powder to guacamole (because it's easy to see the red / green contrast), you'll know it really doesn't take much stirring for the powder to be distributed throughout.
And if she was going to the extra trouble and effort to handcraft 5 individual toxic BW's, she most likely measured out the same amount of powder for each one. Except for hers on the little orange plate.

ADMIN WARNING:

STOP the sarcasm and ridiculing of other members or some serious TOs will be issued. We don't allow "attitude" at Websleuths, and if you can't post with respect toward ALL other members, regardless of differing opinions, you are in the wrong place.
Time I went to bed - I just misread "other members" as "other inmates"!

It wasn't just cardboard but some binbags too.

The sheer timing of this should have been incriminating, especially as Erin has never mentioned it in her account of that day.

She went the tip 7 times in a year. She just so happened to go that day as well. It's circumstantial but it adds to the overall picture.
That visit to the bin just 30 minutes after the lunch demolishes her story about sitting and scarfing 1/2 the cake and throwing it all up. That was not happening if she was actually at the dump.

And her son testified that his mum was at home playing Legos in her room until later when she took his friend home and went to Subway. So she must have snuck out to go tip that cardboard?

Oh I heard about this in Lisa’s podcast. I head that Erin became moderator of the large group. I didn’t realise you were mod before that.

So she’s knocked you off your post. IMO she doesn’t seem to have complex social skills - surely she wouldn’t have even been able to manage the interpersonal issues that come with being a large crime group moderator? Or am I wrong?

Moderating a large crime group is highly complex and there is no way I would be cut out for it (or would want to!!)

IMO
Lisa’s podcast is not reliable.

I was the group owner and admin, Lisa never spoke to Erin. She wasn’t really present in the group. Everything she knows is from myself and Daniel.

Lisa is someone who has main character syndrome.

If Erin didn't know she was going to be arrested why was she getting her affairs in order with a POA and child protection officer?

My first thought was that her lawyers had told her she was going to be arrested, so she needed to get her affairs in order. With perhaps her lawyers having been advised by the police - with the police asking if the lawyers wanted to bring Erin in (as opposed to her being arrested in front of her children).

I can't tell if she was arrested at her home or not. Or if she had been able to have her children not present for the arrest.

Erin Patterson, 49, was arrested on Thursday morning and interviewed by police as investigators searched her home.
Police confirmed on Thursday evening she had been charged with three counts of murder and five of attempted murder.

She got her affairs in order days after the lunch which was 4 months prior to her arrest

A guy I used to work with years ago kept getting on the short list for jury duty. On the day of attendance he would have a 3-day growth, unkempt hair and wore a ratty looking T-shirt. He would constantly be cleaning his glasses and squinting.

He said the inevitable "challenge!" was always music to his ears. :p
That’s so funny. I’ve known people to present in actual costumes and get booted.

I think her son was “mistaken” and maybe forgot that she headed out (alone?!) 30 mins after the lunch.

IMO

The tradesperson saw and photographed it in 2022, but I don't believe we know when the art was done. The son was born in 2009 and the daughter was born in 2014, so the kids were at most 13 and 8 when it was done. I'm trying to figure out if the kids would have been tall enough to do much of the higher-up art.

Should be easy enough to figure that out, since the kids' heights are both marked right there on the wall. That's clearly what it started out as, just a growth marking chart thing. But I guess when the kids saw Mom (and/or Dad?) writing on the wall, they thought it would be ok for them to write on the wall too!

A couple threads back, I posted my tediously thorough analysis :) of everything I could read that was written on the wall and who I thought wrote what, and all that! It all looked pretty harmless and innocent to me, except for maybe a couple things which did seem somewhat bizarre or out of place, imo.

Would be really interesting to know why. Was it their occupations, or did they look too shrewd to Erin, as if they would not believe her lies? MOO
I used to work for my Defense Attorney Dad, during Jury empaneling-----He'd have us running around in the building, looking up things in the vital records dept, like the voting records, and real estate ownership, and business records. In those days there was no internet. So we did what we could.
But now the staff can quickly research someone's social media, LinkedIn, IG, etc, to see what they can see. Depending upon what the case is about, certain political leanings would be critical to know. And their financial standing and occupation, and family situation, etc.

I have just watched this again. Why does she keep saying Ian has died and Don is alive in hospital. She says it more than once. Which is clearly incorrect.
Also not sure if its just the video, but I don't see a single tear in or out of her eyes...

I can't get past more than 30 seconds of this video it makes me cringe too much.

She definitely tried to groom me, I think. I was the group admin/leader, and I think she wanted that control, but also, I was the person in the group focusing on the crime analysis, whereas a lot of the group was focusing on the social dynamics between members. (In particular, Erin - she was OBSESSED with doing profiles on everyone).

I think she ultimately wanted to control the group - which she eventually did. IMO

Hey Detechtive! Thanks so much for getting verified and sharing info with us :D

I have a question. In your opinion or experience was there anything that gave any spidey senses or red flag that this is a woman who aside from being controlling and maybe dramatic and dishonest, could actually go way too far and do something that the average person would never consider?

Just seen this on BBC news in UK. Apologies if already shared.

Was she a member of websleuths?

I think it has been confirmed in the past that she was.

I'm interested to hear more about the case that she was really interested in, enough to have a facebook group from it. What was her position on it, did she think they were guilty or it was a miscarriage of justice etc?

I think she would have said … I didn’t want my children to hear me vomit … so I told them I would be having quiet time, with my Lego and instead I vomited into a cardboard box in my shed, then drove to the dump to dispose of it so they would not see it.

Late one night I couldn't understand why I couldn't "Like" a post until I realized it was my own darn post I was trying to like.

Simon and his family members are still following her on this account. They probably don't use their Instagram accounts.

Simon sweetly gave every post of hers a like.

And NOBODY else did. Kind of surprising to m that these cute pictures of a sweet little boy, wholesome family pix, got no likes at all from anyone else.

She was interested in the case of Keli Lane (Australian girl accused and convicted of killing her baby Tegan), and Erin was firmly in the Guilty camp.
Ironically Keli was also a prolific liar.
