As I've always said, regardless of whether you think she is guilty or not, had they not had receipts or CCTV from the tip we all know we'd have no knowledge about the dehydrator.

This raises questions of what else we don't know about.
The dehydrator featured in pictures sent to her fB friends. (With DC's in it) So the police may not have found the dehydrator, but there is evidence that it existed. Almost as good as finding it with DC remnants and her fingerprints on it. She didn't help herself in that situation, imo. 🤣

At 26.40 mins in this episode of the Mushroom Case Daily the hosts discuss behind the scenes moments of things that stood out to them in the courtroom. Kristian said the moment that really disturbed him was after Dr Steven Warrilow ICU expert from the Austin Hospital, had described the confronting evidence re the deaths of Don, Gail and Heather and Ian Wilkinson's recovery. Justice Beale then called for a break and Kristian went into the courtroom and took a seat and he heard some heavy breathing coming from behind him. He turned around and it was Erin who was doubled over laughing from a joke told by a Prison Guard. This is the real Erin Patterson. No empathy, no sympathy, no remorse. She's a psychopathic monster.

50g would kill you but that isn't necessarily the required dose. An adult weighing 70kg could die from 7mg of amatoxins. A single mature deathcap (40-50g) can contain 10-12mg. This means that as little as 25g could deliver a fatal dose.

I've also done a bit of research myself, and 25g isn't close to a sprinkle. Obviously, I haven't powdered any mushrooms myself but if you look at the little spice jars that you buy in the shops they are a good indicator of size. For some lighter powders like chilli powder, 25g is nearly a whole jar and even for the heavier items like say powdered garlic granules 25g is nearly half a jar. I would suggest that powdered mushroom is quite light.

Per BW that seems far too much to realistically expect had been added.

Edit: I've just reread your post and noticed an error as you suggested 25mg for the whole thing.

The original video was suggesting each BW would need 100g of DC per portion as two guests died off only half a BW. This is what I disagreed with as it would still require quite a lot per BW.

This is roughly 10g of dried DC per BW, which chatGPT estimates to be 1-1.5 tablespoons per portion. I think that's too much to just stir in.
Definitely correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not certain I am. I'm basing my maths on the 2 sources I read that stated 50gm of fresh death caps, in their natural state, would likely be a lethal dose. My calculations were based on the total amount required for the 5 deadly serves. I'm not talking about 25gm of powdered death caps, I'm talking dehydrated death caps with a weight of 25gm, which were then powdered, making a very small amount of dust.

I’m sure this has been covered many times upthread so apologies but how in the WORLD did the cctv footage of her at the recycling centre 30 mins after the lunch not go before the jury ?
The only explanation is that Mandy fought like his life depended on it to have it excluded in evidence, because it really is THE smoking gun, i think.
I think there's a genuine question here of whether they knew.

I only say because it wasn't included in the official list of visits to the tip.

No, anything deemed inadmissible in the pre trial hearings isn’t on the evidence list.

I can’t listen to that podcast because of the biased host and how they take it as a given that Erin is telling the truth, instead of saying things like “Erin claims”.

Everyone I speak to says the same thing.

It’s appalling

Possibly, but I use a browser on my phone so not necessarily.

Most people do, but using Microsoft Edge and Bing on a phone is not common in my experience.

Yes, anybody who has used a forum knows that it is easy to be looking for specific things. She was probably regularly checking for that region of Australia.

If you don't, somebody saying that what are the chances she'd seen one of those 100,000 posts etc might be persuasive.
You can set up email alerts for species in your area. I would say that’s what she did.
She had an Inaturalist account I think, and that was deleted along with all of her email accounts etc on her computers and phones so police could never find direct evidence of that.

IMO.

Possibly while she was "having a lie-down down" after returning from the hospital.

It's not but sometimes when I click on links it does open in Edge even though I'm browsing in Chrome so just a thought.

She probably also had her DNA on it 🙄 and a selfie of her posing with it on her phone 🤣

Yes, it is appalling.

I listened to a bit of one of the earlier episodes and had to switch it off because of the obvious bias towards Erin Patterson, especially from Rachael.

I listed to this episode, as I was interested to hear what they really thought. No surprises that Rachael is still defending Erin and questioning the verdict. How she ever became a journalist is anyone's guess...

Hobbies, heckles and love letters: How Erin Patterson’s life is unfolding behind bars

The triple-murderer was stony-faced when the jury read their verdict out. In prison, her demeanour changed.

By Chris Vedelago

July 11, 2025

She doesn’t curse or spit at the guards or bash anyone. But she has put inmates and guards off with her constant complaints, which are often taken as showing her complete lack of awareness of where she is.

“Her cell is too hot or too cold: ‘What are you going to do about it?’ she’d say. It was complaint after complaint after complaint,” says a guard who formerly worked in her unit.

“It’s not a hotel; it’s a prison. Yes, she wasn’t convicted yet. But it’s still a prison. It’s not meant to be customised for your comfort.”

snip

Only one of these online mates would turn up in person – except as witnesses for the prosecution – to stand with Patterson during the trial: Alison Prior. They met for the first time after charges were laid, and Prior would be granted permission to approach Patterson in the dock to speak to her.

Patterson had been in a maximum security unit for her safety since she was remanded in November 2023 but was moved into the special protection unit last year.

For almost 24 hours a day, she would be left staring at four walls – and her brief of evidence – cut off from almost all human contact except for her guards.
This is interesting as it has been stated in MSM that Alison was at Erin's house the night before she was charged at her "party".

I have just watched this again. Why does she keep saying Ian has died and Don is alive in hospital. She says it more than once. Which is clearly incorrect.
Also not sure if its just the video, but I don't see a single tear in or out of her eyes...

Yes. I don't believe it was a party. Trying to get get her affairs in order, with Ali-Rose as POA, and Child Protection officer also attending.
IMO

Wow 🤯 Is that really confirmed? Can anyone comment?

And she is apparently her POA? Double mindblown.

How long had they been online friends for though? It's very weird that she didn't have anyone else to make her POA.

There are zero tears, as she realizes when checking that out. It's the worst acting I've ever seen.

As for who has died and who has not, IMO she could not care less so trying to recall the facts is a nuisance to her.
