Oh, that's interesting!More likely she was looking for a new companion, imo

This link has all of the photos and evidence pertaining to the case.

In pictures: All the evidence you haven’t seen from Erin Patterson’s trial
Text messages, expert analysis and photos shown throughout the mass murderer’s 10-week trial. Here are all the exhibits given to the jury in Erin Patterson’s mushroom murder trial.7news.com.au
Erin initially asked them all to lunch a few weeks prior, and Simon declined the night before, it looks like. She tried very hard to talk him into it.
Edited to add:
She also reset Phone B on Wed 2/8 at 11.09am. Then turned up at the tip to dump the dehydrator 20 minutes later. The cover-up had begun.
Yeah, I don't read that as him initially saying yes. I read it as she tried very hard to persuade him, he never said yes, and she kept trying.
Erin Is The New BlackShe is currently in the right place to make that choice…… there are 603 to choose from!

I have no doubt it will be Life Without Parole, 3 people died a horrendous death & very nearly another who went thru a horrendous time & no doubt will have ongoing health issues directly related to the harm caused by Erin Patterson!
Yes, but she only knew that because she was an unfit mother that had poisoned her kid's grandparents.
No, this woman is the not the new black, she’s rather the new lowest of the low. The biggest of the losers. I would prefer she has as little contact with as few people as possible (so she cannot hurt others) and that she is locked away and has zero access to internet or news. If I met her, I would say sorry who did you say you were?Erin Is The New Black
She can star in her own show
Hoping no parole for 37 years.I truly hope so. I was reading today about those in VIC with Life Without Parole. Of course I don't want to compare the cases per se, however, I know that Jill Meagher's killer got life without parole. SURELY Erin's crimes are equivalent at minimum. IMO
but he didn't - he firstly got life with a chance of parole after 35 years - then after some other convictions tha non parole period was extended to 43 and then he appealed it and it was reduced to 40 years!I truly hope so. Maybe September? And yes I assume they would be. IMOWhen is sentencing? Are victim impact statements allowed?
When is sentencing? Are victim impact statements allowed?
My bolding. How exactly does a judge determine an “unreasonable” verdict? Does that mean they disagree with the jurors?
I'd consider her a Black Widow of sorts... Simon would be dead if she'd had her way.No, this woman is the not the new black, she’s rather the new lowest of the low. The biggest of the losers. Erin would consider any verdict against her "Unreasonable". "I Disagree!"When will she be sentenced?
A pre-sentence hearing is expected in early August, but no date has been set.
At that hearing, Justice Chrisopher Beale will determine the appropriate sentence for the offences Patterson committed.
Victim impact statements can be delivered before the sentence is pronounced, including from relatives and loved ones of the victims of a crime.

What happens next for Erin Patterson?

I also read this in the article:
Patterson and her legal team have the option to appeal the verdict in the next 28 days, or to file for an appeal window extension.
Grounds for appeal include claims that the verdict was unreasonable, or that there were legal errors made in the trial.
An appeal can also be filed against the sentence ultimately imposed.

September is my birthday month. Happy Birthday to me.![]()

I can't think of anyone in victoria that was initially given life without parole - only after when they tried to apply, various governments passed retrospective laws to stop them - for instance julian knight and craig minogue.
Oh ok I finally found one Peter Dupas - who was found guilty and sentenced 3 times to life without parole.
Name | Crime Type | Sentence |
---|---|---|
Peter Norris Dupas | Serial murder & rape | Life without parole (3×) |
Paul Steven Haigh | Serial murder | Life without parole |
John Leslie Coombes | Serial murder | Life without parole |
Leslie Alfred Camilleri | Bega schoolgirl murders | Life without parole |
Michael Cardamone | First-time murderer (2016) | Life without parole (2017) |
Ray Edmunds, Ashley Coulston, Bandali Debs, Leigh Robinson, Stanley Taylor, Robert Lowe, Murray Perrier | Multiple murders | Life without parole |
All men.Sorry, my mistake. These are the life without parole folks.
