FWIW I work in academic mental health (my PhD was in neuropsychiatry) and I find her psychologically fascinating. A lot of people do.

Also curious what "reform" means in the context above. A loved one works in restorative justice (he works closely with a man named Jacob Dunne, who I recommend googling if anyone is interested in restorative justice). But Erin would pretty obviously never be a candidate for restorative justice. Not sure how else Erin is relevant to the research being done into "reform."

Beyond that, ideally there would be wider knowledge on the impacts of media bias/representation and how this influences public perception. A huge part of Erin’s guilt was assumed only days after the lunch due to her “strange” wording, facial expressions and overall behaviour. There is a general lack of public knowledge in terms of nuances associated with conditions such as ASD. Occasionally this introduces harmful barriers during the investigation process (and following, for others who may be under the ND umbrella).

I've said this before, but as a diagnosed autistic person this isn't something I'm comfortable with.

The rat detail is unhinged. It's like something from a movie. Maybe Erin's crocheted rats will become the new Gacy clown paintings.

Yes, she's a danger to society. Even if she got out as an old lady, what's to stop her from poisoning someone again? It's not like she needs physical strength to do that. Far easier than stabbing or strangling someone.

If she did get parole in her '80s, I'm pretty sure a condition of release would be that she never serve food or beverages to others.

Option B has a nice ring to it.

I still reckon if it’s not LWOP it has to be at least 42-45 Non parole period. 30 is expected for one murder. Take away a discount for her ‘terrible prison conditions’ and you can’t really get below the 40s, IMO

But of course, LWOP is the only appropriate sentence, IMO

In my opinion, nothing she does is an accident, I fully believe it’s a passive aggressive taunt and insult. Betrayal, feeling ripped off, etc. I imagine she’s seething at her legal team for not winning, which I imagine most people would feel especially after such a large spend on it. But this is Erin. Sending passive aggressive taunts is how she is. IMO

It is usually a concurrent sentence. Which really annoys me. 3 lives should equal 3 sentences.

There isn’t a minimum for attempted, but I really wish the life sentences were served consecutively. It’s a bit of a joke that you get a sentence discount per subsequent life you take . IMO
