Anyone remember the case of Simon Gittany (in NSW)? It took the judge 4½ HOURS to read the verdict.
We were all waiting for 4½ hours to hear the verdict at the end of those hours. (Verdict not sentencing)

I wonder how much legal justification has to be given for the sentencing in this case.
They are saying on ABC Live News that they expect this sentencing to take 45 mins. A talking head is saying that he has seen sentencing (in NSW) go for a couple of hours.

It is usually a concurrent sentence. Which really annoys me. 3 lives should equal 3 sentences.

Exactly. The Yanks don't get much right but they get sentencing right and If Patterson was sentenced in the US, she'd get 100 years.
