Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

Completely my opinion.

I think PB was seen at IGA with JW and TB where there was some sort of an argument. This could have been seen on CCTV or a witness. JW did admit to being at the IGA that morning. The argument continued on the drive and PB tried to call her boyfriend for help (maybe even discretely). When they noticed they took the phone and switched it off. I think the gun under the front seat was pulled during the argument (JW saying TB passed makeup bag to backseat and was really pointing the gun) and when they got close to the airport TB and JW freaked out that PB would report them once inside the terminal. This could be why they got so close. After that somewhere between BMX track and GNS PB was killed.

MOO

Your hypothetical does sound plausible.
  • JW reported buying energy drinks at the IGA before leaving for the airport
  • Pheobe was last confirmed alive in CCTV prior to the car reaching the BMX track near the Airport
  • There isn't much else in terms of shops or businesses between Gin Gin and the Airport where she'd have a reason to be out of the car, and obviously could be confirmed to be alive on CCTV.

I'm not sure if it was accurate, but a screen capture from social media was posted earlier in the thread of a person claiming to have witnessed an argument in the carpark at the IGA involving the three housemates (and the dog) on the morning of the 15th May, and that they'd reported it to Police after the news of Pheobe being missing blew up.

I would usually be sceptical of anything posted on social media, but that particular story does fit with the other information we have.

Who knows how it came about at this point? My dog once ran off with my phone and turned it off, so maybe the opposite happened. Maybe the housemates tried to turn it on in offline mode to retrieve information from the phone, but it did a quick ping off the towers. The answer could be endless, really.

I've spent a lot of time doing long distance moutianbike rides through the forests here, and even GPS devices can struggle when you have thick tree foliage, and mobile phones are basically useless in many areas, even though they show coverage on the network maps. You could have good phone reception all the way on the bitumen roads until you actually hit bushland, then it's very on and off with a weak signal from my experience.

Something led LE to the first location really fast, so someone gave intel or they were tracked somehow. The problem with phone tracking is that the housemates may have made multiple stops along the way, they could have searched for different locations to leave PB, or they could have stopped for toilet breaks, refueling or something to eat. There may be multiple sites of interest for all we know.

So, employing resources to all those locations at once wouldn't be easy; they most likely picked the most probably locations.

MOO.

I swear I remember reading in the earliest DM reports that the car in question was seen going to GNS Park at night.

It was also mentioned it was driving around airport, or something like this.
Is my memory playing tricks? 🤔

It was then when the name of the Park appeared and I got curious about it.

Sadly it is the owners who have to clean up after these types of tenants. How often did the agents do an inspection? In Qld it is supposed to be every 3 months.

Very true agents can be slack.

It really is up to you the owner to keep on top of them. Insist on the routine inspections. It’s the only way to ensure your house is being looked after.

Paying rent on time doesn’t mean someone is maintaining a property to the state it was when they moved in.

My own experience has always been keep on top of the agent..

So true.

Paying rent on time can be a way to show the landlord you are a great tenant, because most are

TB - *nothing to see here landlord, I pay my rent on time*

Somewhere last night I did see video footage of the owners at the property shocked at the state it was in.

Also said they rent was always paid on time and until this case they had no idea the state of the house til they saw the house in the media.

Scroll to 1:48

It is always a good idea to check on renters & the property REGULARLY.
Always be watchful what is happening with the property.

You know...

I agree with your thoughts. But I don't understand: how did they know, where to find a similar track 9 km away? The first location must have a certain sign/feature, which other tracks don't have, but this one 9km away would have. IMO
The police officer stated in the media conference they were looking for similar tracks to the first site - made it sound like car tracks - and they found them at this site. Once they found those tracks at the second site they deployed the Cadaver dogs

I just had a read about the park what is interesting.

Is this :

Walking

While no formal walking tracks are provided you can walk along an extensive network of firetrails. Make sure you carry a mobile phone and water. Wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a long-sleeve shirt to protect you from the elements.

So if park management are suggesting that … would it mean that there is mobile reception out there?

You forgot to read one bit.

Pheobe’s Mum is a real lady, with a heart of gold!

Pheobe's mum Kylie urged the Gin Gin community to 'respect' Bromley's family after she was charged with the 17-year-old's murder.”

“Kylie bravely called on the local community to support Bromley's family and said her daughter would want people to show 'compassion'.”

I also want to remind our community a very important reminder, and this is imperative for our family and for for us to move forward in our healing,' she said.

'I know Tanika has been charged. I know her family live within our community and I expect them to receive respect, and I expect them to receive the respect that they deserve.

'They have the not made the decisions that this woman is accused of. They are not guilty of any of those actions. Those kids mean the world to us as a family.

'They meant the world to Phoebe as a family as well. It is imperative to us, as a family, that they are supported just as much as us. They are hurting probably more than us, even though we have lost our child.

'But I really need you to know that Phoebe's compassion would have reached that depth. There is to be no anger or hate towards that family.'

'That person will be brought to justice in a way that justice deserves to be brought to. But that is not dependent on her family, and I need everybody to know that.’

From the link in quote:

"Last week, a court heard Bromley cared for two children, including one living with a disability, as part of a shared custody arrangement."

Does it mean the kids lived in that house??

Like living with father and mother alternatively?
Changing homes?

Earlier here on the thread, it was said she had lost custody of the children because of prior convictions

Ms Bromley's brother, Sean, has come forward, claiming his family had serious concerns about the welfare of those at the Gin Gin property and went to the police.

'It's about time I say something,' he said. 'I'm ashamed my family's name is now getting dragged through the mud because of one particular person.'

He goes on to discuss his sister's recent run-ins with the law, explaining she was out on bail at the time of Pheobe's disappearance.

'I was worried about my nephews and everything that I had been hearing and what those boys had gone through.'

'Especially considering how many times those two have been reported to authorities, welfare and the animal protection service,' he said.

"7 June: Police press conference

Detective Inspector Craig Mansfield told reporters the remains had been tested
and 'identified as being human remains'.
(BBM)

'We have been in contact with Pheobe's family and advised them of this development. Understandably, this has caused great distress to them', he said.

He said further testing and examination will occur, with the view of formally identifying the remains, and supporting Queensland Police's brief of evidence to date.

Mansfield said the area where human remains were found was an extension 'not too far' from the original search area.

'We are engaging with legal representatives from both of those accused', he said.

'Coupled with snippets of information and also telecommunications data, that's allowed us to find this location independently'."

IMO
The remains HAD TO be tested if they are human.
It says all about the state of the body IMO.
Left not buried, out in the elements and with wild animals roaming there.

:(

That is why I wondered previously if cause of death can even be determined.

Interesting "Those kids mean the world to us as a family."

Does this mean that the Bishop family are close with the Bromley family?

Similar car tracks. The detective pretty much said it in his latest press conference

Sounds as though the Bromley kids are well loved by the Bishop family.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if this Bromley has gone off the tracks along the way.

It has got to be so hard for the family of the accused (in all cases). Feelings of shame, disbelief, angst, sorrow .....

imo

Yes by the sounds of that and previous media reports.

It is interesting isn't it.

The daily mail posted images of TB wedding day with KJ as bridesmaid, link was in previous thread.

Daily Mail Australia have done great coverage of this case. Been on the ground in Gin Gin covering so many of the facts of the case.
