Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

Bond will go to landlords, and Landlords would have to have landlord insurance as it’s a requirement for any lease that is done via an agent. Unfortunately though the clean up everything will be the responsibility of the owners.

Somewhere last night I did see video footage of the owners at the property shocked at the state it was in.

Also said they rent was always paid on time and until this case they had no idea the state of the house til they saw the house in the media.

Yes they were interviewed last night and were appalled at the stench in the house and state of it.

They are hoping to clean it up and put it on the market

Completely my opinion.

I think PB was seen at IGA with JW and TB where there was some sort of an argument. This could have been seen on CCTV or a witness. JW did admit to being at the IGA that morning. The argument continued on the drive and PB tried to call her boyfriend for help (maybe even discretely). When they noticed they took the phone and switched it off. I think the gun under the front seat was pulled during the argument (JW saying TB passed makeup bag to backseat and was really pointing the gun) and when they got close to the airport TB and JW freaked out that PB would report them once inside the terminal. This could be why they got so close. After that somewhere between BMX track and GNS PB was killed.

MOO

Agree 100% on this part of your theory
My theory back a few pages too

There are 39 CCTV cameras around Bundy airport, installed and managed by Bundy Council, for everyone’s security. They have installed 545 CCTV cameras throughout the Bundy region.

Pheobe Bishop's mother praises searchers ahead of vigil this afternoon

In a social media post, she praised emergency services personnel who had undertaken the search for her daughter.

"The Queensland Police Service, the SES and the Bundaberg CPS have been faultless in this process," she wrote.”

"These guys have literally been on their hands and (knees) to find our Baby and get her home to us… I will honestly never be able to repay them for what they have done for my family and Pheobe.”

“They have worked 24-hour days since Phee went missing and they won't stop until she's home! Myself and my family will never be able to repay the sacrifices they make daily for not only our family but all our families."

Such heartfelt, grateful words from Pheobe’s Mum.

Yep.
It was me who asked locals here about the name.
And they answered.
Hence my allusion.
I even dug up info about the Park and sent a post here.
But it is in thread#1.
I just had a read about the park what is interesting.

Is this :

Walking

While no formal walking tracks are provided you can walk along an extensive network of firetrails. Make sure you carry a mobile phone and water. Wear a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a long-sleeve shirt to protect you from the elements.

So if park management are suggesting that … would it mean that there is mobile reception out there?

Landlords' sickening find in property rented by couple accused of murdering Pheobe Bishop - and the brutal way they learned their house had been completely trashed

doesn’t seem to be much new offical news or updates so hope this is comment is allowed/ okay timing.

I am absolutely shocked and appalled at the state of TB’s and JW’s living conditions, especially after reading how relatively brief their stay has been at the rental in Gin Gin.

I was wondering if anyone had specific or even vague information on how this might be dealt with from a legal/ landlord standpoint? I highly doubt they would have any money left for damage fines or professional cleaning. I feel sorry for the landlord, and I never thought I’d be saying something like that in today’s housing crisis. But that property condition truly is awful, won’t be cheap to clean.

Who cops the mess if tenants/ person at fault get’s locked up?
The landlord will apply to keep the bond and may also need to claim on insurance.

Given the rent for the property was $520pw or approx $2300pcm, the bond would also be approx $2300.

Sadly it is the owners who have to clean up after these types of tenants. How often did the agents do an inspection? In Qld it is supposed to be every 3 months.

Good luck, that's all I can say as a LL myslef. The bond will barely cover the rent loss. This is one of the main insurers in Qld.

ADMIN NOTE:

Absolutely stop the bickering, personalizing and rudeness in this discussion or some members will lose posting privileges.

On another note to clear up any confusion ... reasonable speculation based on KNOWN fact is allowed. Known fact is what is released by LE and/or found in MSM.

Here's a simplistic, ridiculous analogy to hopefully explain the difference:

If LE or MSM release information that a red car was seen going north, it is fine to speculate about that because it is publicized known fact.

It would not be fine to speculate that they were in a blue car heading south.

Also, 'comments' on a social media page are not allowed for discussion because anybody can say anything on the internet and that does not make it true. It is possibly/probably rumor. Websleuths is fact based and doesn't allow discussion of rumors.

Unfortunately that is part of the risk with being a landlord, investing isn’t a guaranteed way of making money.

Hopefully JW and TBs families can remove their belongings.

IMO landlords should be able to sell anything left by the tenants to try to recoup some of their losses.

Regarding the "mirror" thing, I read that as being another area very similar to the first they searched.
I agree with your thoughts. But I don't understand: how did they know, where to find a similar track 9 km away? The first location must have a certain sign/feature, which other tracks don't have, but this one 9km away would have. IMO
