Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

Sounds as though the Bromley kids are well loved by the Bishop family.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if this Bromley has gone off the tracks along the way.

It has got to be so hard for the family of the accused (in all cases). Feelings of shame, disbelief, angst, sorrow .....

imo
If they're known and loved by them, I'd say possibly betrayal too.

Yes by the sounds of that and previous media reports.

It is interesting isn't it.

The daily mail posted images of TB wedding day with KJ as bridesmaid, link was in previous thread.

Daily Mail Australia have done great coverage of this case. Been on the ground in Gin Gin covering so many of the facts of the case.
Oh interesting! I came in after then so missed that post. Wow. That changes a lot in my mind.

"The owners of a dilapidated property rented by a couple accused of murdering teenager Pheobe Bishop
have found the trashed home littered with dog faeces.

Empty bottles, clothing and rubbish surrounded the property on Sunday
with the landlord couple saying it was
'even worse inside'.

They claimed the interior was strewn with dog faeces and confirmed that the
canines Wood kept on the property had died.

The back porch is also understood to be covered in faeces along with used Covid tests.

It's understood the house was rented
in Bromley's name
and she never missed a payment.

Real estate photos of the home from 2024 and 2016
showed the property had previously been in pristine condition
with tidy gardens and clean verandahs."

Honestly WTF is all that stuff. The mind boggles.

I just re read the article, if TB and PBs mum were friends or at least acquaintances going back to at least 2016, PB was known to TB for almost 9 years. Since she was 8 years old.
Even if PB had difficulties regulating herself, TB knew what she was like since she was 24. As a support worker she should have had the capacity to regulate, especially for interacting with clients, let alone "loved ones".
Why do you even need weapons, let alone firearms, as a 33 year old mother of 3. For protection? From what?

Out of interest, how many other cases involve crew that are into pig hunting.
Jayo Rivers also went missing when with a group who were into pig hunting too. He has yet to be located.
Seems to be a culture that can facilitate a bit of violence and inebriation. Maybe that's why certain types gravitate towards it.

"Human remains found in the search for Pheobe Bishop
have finally been removed from 'unforgiving' remote bushland
overrun with dangerous dogs and feral pigs.

An undertaker collected the remains from the Good Night Scrub National Park on Saturday night.

The body had been discovered at 2.30pm on Friday,
however,
efforts to recover the remains were hampered for more than a day by dangerous wildlife in the area.

Queensland Police remained at the scene on Sunday morning,
sweeping the region for any remaining clues over the 17-year-old’s tragic death.

Wide Bay-Burnett Detective Inspector Craig Mansfield revealed on Saturday
police had yet to locate luggage and a phone belonging to Pheobe."

The real brutality was what was done to her by human beings.

Whatever the wildlife did after didn't cause her any pain. She was beyond feeling anything. The animals were just doing what they do to survive, without malice.

MOO
In no way am I blaming the animals. As you say, that’s their survival instinct in their own territory, and I know it wasn’t them who brought pain & suffering to Pheobe.

What I was referring to was the supposed human element in this horrible situation. .. . I can’t even classify it as ‘human’.

As I see it from Pheobe’s perspective, she close them as her ( supposed ) trustworthy house mates - NB was a mature person who was known to her Mum, and since JW was her partner, sge surmised that he must be ok too

Yet as it turns out, NB & JW had so little care, concern or respect for the welfare of that young girl (who was Half their Age) that they murdered her.
Can anyone come up with any plausible reason for that ( police have said they have a suggestion of a motive ).
They then dumped her in a place that they felt sure that wild animals would quickly remove the evidence.

I guess after stooping that low, all semblance of rational Human behaviour is way gone! Hope they don’t expect humane treatment.

IMO

It’s hard for me to comprehend shooting an animal..full stop. I just don’t have it in me.

The same colour duct tape as what was left on the bonnet and at the first crime scene in GN Park.

Oops! Thank you for that cos I did wonder if it actually worked out there.
You would get phone reception out there, but only in certain spots. Tall trees and hills interfere with the signal, I don't even get full coverage in mountain bike parks around Brisbane. A lot of service cars and farmers have a booster in their vehicles, and that amplifies the signals.

To add from the link:

"The young couple have owned the property for several years
and only found out about the disgusting state of their house when it made headlines after Pheobe disappeared.

'It was a beautiful home,' they said.

The male owner told Channel Seven on Saturday:
'We started a family in this home'.

The couple hopes
to 'clean it up and make it liveable to get it back on market'."

Ummm....
Good luck!!!
