Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

Correct that actual footage could have been along the Gin Gin Hway or anywhere from the route taken that day

3 AREAS of Interest:

Police are appealing to the public for dashcam and CCTV footage of the grey Hyundai ix35 with Queensland registration 414EW3

near the Airport Dr and

Samuels Rd area in Bundaberg,

also the Gin Gin area

on May 15

I think both could be the case. They got to airport drive, pulled off into the BMX club to find somewhere to (allegedly) attack and murder poor Phoebe and then possibly flee to Samuels to dispose of her in a hurry. They return with clearer heads sometime later to move her to GNSNP.
The BMX carpark is hidden with trees.

Looks like there are a few exits from the BMX track that lead to Commercial Drive.

They could have thrown a blanket over the top of PB and driven off as if nothing had happened.

Pheobe’s Mum was able to track where Pheobe was, using an app, which I believe is Life360. Strange that it took so long for the location information to be given to the Police, but perhaps Pheobe’s mum had to request access from the app developers, which took time?

Life360 can show past trips, so I assume that is how they tracked Pheobe, seeing as her mobile phone hasn’t been found. The last known location will be shown on the app even if the phone is turned off.

Can Life360 See Location If Your Phone Is Off?

Since Life360 is an app, the location-sharing service is also disconnected when a phone is turned off. However, Life360 does have the ability to provide the location history of the device for 30 days, and will display your phone’s last known location.

Police have confirmed suspected remains found in the search for Queensland teenager Pheobe Bishop have been identified as human.

The remains were found about 2.30pm yesterday on a back road surrounded by dense bushland near the Good Night Scrub National Park, less than an hour away from Gin Gin.

The grim discovery was made 9 kilometres from the initial search area, with police led to the scene thanks to a family tracking app on Pheobe's phone, which allowed her mum to access her location, leading to the breakthrough.”

Thank you! I am very visual, does this interpretation look like it makes sense?

1, Turn-off Airport Drive on gravel road, skim past the BMX track on what looks like a dirt road - if the BMX track had CCTV the trees would shield them

2. Down the off-road track (yellow arrow) - anywhere in blue is where they can enter the scrub around the creek bed (green is capturing business entrances with traffic and possible CCTV)

3.Turn left on dirt track and then right onto Johanna Blvd (paved road) - red x is approx where the homicide pin is and green business entrances with traffic and possibly CCTV (I forgot to add, right at the roundabout to the airport)

All of these are from Google maps but your recent post shows a big new building which I think is Reece Plumbing.

If Reece plumbing is there it feels like they followed the yellow arrow.

I'd appreciate thoughts on:
- Can a Hyundai do all this vs a 4WD?

- Returning at night, is that area dark and quiet; can you do it with no headlights?
- Is the BMX track and the trails around it locally well-known or you would have to use the track (or have kids that do)?

Massive apologies everyone for my hack job, everyone's maps and notes are all so professional, mine aren't!!!!

But Phoebe did have the app ?

It was what lead police to the location

@Aussieboy posted the video at the location - his post started the convo and the video shared showed that was how they found the location

Pheobe had the app and her mum could finally access it.

This is possibly WHY the police were looking in a certain area, but then realised it was another area similar to the first one, as they stated.
A random nine news video speculated that the life 360 app was used to find Pheobe

The police have definitely not stated that. I have gone through each police statement and press release video.
  • Phoebe's phone had been reportedly switched off after the call to the boyfriend.
  • Phoebe's phone was never recovered by police.
Do you really think that if this app showed police where to find Phoebe's remains, they would have wasted 3 weeks searching various unrelated areas of bushland?

Always be skeptical of news reports. They are frequently wrong.

When a phone is turned off, Life360 cannot track its location.

The phone's location-sharing function ceases, including GPS and cellular data, as it relies on these elements to function.

However, Life360 does keep a record of the last known location for 30 days.
- (this is when the phone is turned back on)

Life360 retains the last location information for a limited time, allowing you to see where the phone was before it was turned off.

Yep this was discussed earlier but dismissed

Phoebe phone has NOT been found *as far as we know*

It COULD be possible that JW or TB had her phone all along and that one of them, gave it to police at time of arrest. OR the police FOUND it.

SO many possibilities.

June 5 - Thursday
Mr Wood and Ms Bromley were arrested on Thursday night in the Bundaberg area and are due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday.

June 6 - Friday
PB remains found
The remains were found about 2.30pm yesterday ( June 6) on a back road surrounded by dense bushland near the Good Night Scrub National Park, less than an hour away from Gin Gin.

Everyone's theory is valid.

Interesting. Thank you.

Given the state of the house then, one could assume that Pheobe WASNT working as a cleaner under the NDIS Scheme, but was possibly receiving NDIS PAYMENTS herself ?
Mishy66. I've never seen anything suggesting Pheobe was on NDIS, nor having any mental health issues

Everyone's theory is valid.

Location is shown on the phone that Pheobe had family sharing with - even when Pheobe’s phone was turned off!

Also, it has been stated in my post that is how the Police found Pheobe!

Can Life360 Track a Turned-Off Phone?

Life360 can’t see the phone’s location mainly because once the mobile device is shut off, so is its GPS functionality. Since Life360 utilizes GPS data to calculate a person’s location, the app won’t work properly without access to the information. Your last known location will be displayed if you were sharing your location when your phone is turned off.

There’s a lot of shooting people down on this thread which to be honest I haven’t really come across in other threads on WS.

Remember everyone is here for the same reason..

I think from your picture 1, at the end of the 2nd arrow, they may have just cut straight across to Lillian Crescent, and then onto Johanna Blvd to the roundabout, as there does seem to be a vehicle dirt path visible there, thus avoiding the creek altogether.
