I wouldn't mind betting no cash or jewellrey was stolen. It's something that can't be proven or disproven, and is an easy explanation as to why there was an argument that morning, although that was not mentioned as a reason for the argument by JW in his Daily Fail interview. Can anyone picture him finding out that his 17 year old housemate stole $5,000 cash from his room, and being cool with it, or cool enough not to confront her about it without tempers flaring? Apparently he's such a nice guy that "he wouldn't even be angry" (his words according to Daily Fail) about it when she turned up, he was just concerned for her safety. Yeah, right. Allegedly. MOO.

Police allegedly found a shortened firearm, ammunition and two replica handguns during a search of Bromley's grey Hyundai and further ammunition in the pair's Gin Gin home.

Det Mansfield said he could not speculate on whether the weapons located were involved until Pheobe's body was found.”

In my mind the most likely scenario is that there was some kind of altercation at the house at 5am on the morning of the flight - as reported by the neighbour and that time also mentioned by JW. I feel like a possibility is that PB had tried to take some cash from TB and JW as spending money for her holiday (the $5k he mentioned in his texts, although I doubt it would have been that much) and she had promised to report their illegal activity to police if they didn't let her. This caused JW (or TB) to become enraged and attack PB, smashing the TV that he also mentioned to the media in the process. I think the first time they moved her was from the house, and then again from the GNS area.

I think that JW has spilled so many details to the press that I would also be wholly unsurprised if they nailed him with a wire tap or some other monitoring that he wasn't close to smart enough to anticipate.

I’ve said from the start, I think she’s tried to get between a fight between JW and TB.
Or she’s pissed off JW by being stressed to get out of the house and to the airport.
I think she was most definitely killed at the house. & it PISSES me off that police never came when they were called.
They could have either found her there that morning already deceased or stopped this from happening if they did their job properly and came to the house after they were informed there was an argument with a male and female. Just another case of DV that wasn’t important enough to follow up on

It may not have been a full tree trunk. I’m thinking a tree that had been already been cut and the stump was there hence not seeing it if reversing in a 4wd..

Money could be motive

He didn't say $5K for no reason

It could have been a thousand dollars but he said $5K

The Q put to him was in essence, PB hasn't touched her bank account since May 14 and he suggested why would she , she stole $5k

She didnt need money from bank , she stole ours

Which is no doubt another lie.

But he didn't say $5 K for no reason.

If the remains turn out to be Pheobe, and we all know they will, at least her family will get her back sooner rather than later, or not at all. A tiny piece of comfort in a horrible 3 weeks for them. It also drives home the fact to them that she is totally, 100%, gone. Some many emotions for her loved ones to bear.

Well done to the QPS for their dedicated work to bring this case to a close.

RIP Pheobe. Life wasn't fair to you, you deserved so much more.

“Police have located what is believed to be human remains following a search of an area near Good Night Scrub National Park near Gin Gin this afternoon, June 6.

The brief search commenced after further enquires and investigations today, with the discovery being made by specialist units around 2:30pm.

The remains are yet to be formally identified; however, investigators are in contact with the family of missing 17-year-old Pheobe Bishop.

A crime scene has been declared at the location and forensic examinations are continuing.”
