I see your point, but to expand on my "Bob walked out of the house" theory:
The cover story for JeM's truck having been at Carnation is that the good-hearted son-in-law was repairing something. I think the truck was actually driving around most of the day, but had to come back after the Home Depot purchase because it was necessary to actually do some work & be able to point out the replaced parts or whatever when the time came to answer inevitable questions. If the housekeeper hadn't thrown the monkey wrench into the plan, the last time any of us saw or talked to Pops was yesterday & all was well. Fontelle would have been concerned to have missed Bob's nightly call, but probably wouldn't have asked cops to go for a welfare check that night... They, & I flip-flop who is included in "they", expected to have a lot more time & distance between having been at Bob's home & him being discovered to be missing.
There are many combinations of what could have happened that morning. Unfortunately, all end with Mr Bob having never been seen again & the buzzards circling over the bank account.
I've been out all day, I need to catch up today's posts. I just need to say one thing & then maybe I'll be able to put it out of my mind. I was so repulsed by the mouth kiss for the camera when Fontelle arrived back at the house. The poor lady stepped out of the cab into a media circus & the ___tches are all over her.... GRRR!
