Particularly in combination with the unmade bed.
I have often noticed that it is very difficult to hear anything outside the bathroom while water is flowing in the bathroom but it's quite easy to hear all sorts of movements over the sound of water flowing from outside the bathroom.
As if I didn't have enough catching-up to do, I decided to run some net searches to see what else I could find out there on-case. Perhaps most of you (especially the hard workers) are well-aware of what I've located. I'm still bookmarking.
Did we know or discuss that one of Bob's daughters apparently supplied info to I.D. for the "Disappeared" episode?

How do you mean this? That one or more of them were interviewed or that they contacted Disappeared themselves?
:floorlaugh:
Sorry....
Gitana1, :blowkiss: This case is an addiction. We dragged Oriah in as well...not to mention, shana, Grannie et al.![]()
Gosh, gitana. It's not like you to beat around the bush. Tell us how you really feel!![]()

Gitana, I am totally naive. I thought that the whole reason conservators had to report to court was so that there was a check on the power of a conservator. To prevent a conservator from stripping the estate prematurely.
I haven't been able to figure out why the court is letting them get continuance after continuance for not filing the (relatively simple seeming) paperwork that has been called for.
Such is my naivete that I thought judges really hated people who fiddle faddle about and would eventually deliver a judicial slap on the back of the head to a party who kept delaying things.
And yet, it hasn't happened.
I totally do not understand it.
There is a mother lode of information at the discussion board I referenced above. I've not had the oppty to read thru so much of it, but so far...
Sorry to say, but it could be a game-changer for me.
I'll wait until some of the rest of you read there (or Mods, if I may, post a few hints to those who may need to find it).

I'm mad! It don't have my beautiful father any more. He died in 2008. I'd give anything to have him back, to see him happy like Mr. Harrod was. The thought that his own family might be responsible, his own kids, my gosh, it's horrible.
I protected my dad when he was dying. He knew he could rely on me and count on me. He felt safe when I was there. The day he died, I had not gotten to the house as early as I usually did each day, until my brother called and said to get there fast. But, my dad held on. I walked in the door, saw one of my brothers and my mom crying by his bed and the nurse checking his heart beat. He was propped up, eyes open and looked at me as I said, "Hi, Pop!". He died right at that moment. He was waiting for me.
So, this really hurts me. Like parents who kill their own babies, it is a betrayal of the most profound trust. It is a desecration of what it means to be human.
That's exactly what it's for. But it rarely works that way (in many states). We have had major problems with this in California. I gave Believe09 some links about it. Everyone here should read some of them because it's relevant to what's happening here (except usually it's non-family members who do this, although there have been some intra-family murders as one of the links describes:

I found the info on another forum, the one which discusses offers for transplants (does that ring a bell?).
Not sure which daughter it is (yet), but she posts aplenty so there's a clue, perhaps. Posts are recent. On 2nd thought, I'm quite sure it's JuM.
Am I allowed to post a snippet or must I paraphrase?
And yes, I'm addicted to this case (among a very few others) for a host of reasons, many of which are personal to me.
gitana, I can't tell you how happy I am to see you here! Many thanks to believe for alerting you to case.

Yep...sure smacks of a setup to me (missing keys & wallet).
Not only did the housekeeper apparently surprise JeM by showing-up on the Monday instead of her usual Tuesday, she also well could have shocked the whole bunch of 'em by revealing that tidbit about Bob's unmade bed.
Also to note from the "Disappeared" clip: iirc, the housekeeper (Agnes) looked inside the mailbox to see if Bob had left her a key as he and/or his wife had done on rare occasions in the past if either/both were not going to be home at the time she was due to arrive for work.

This is absolutely the truth. Surely it involves a scientific principle.
I just had a really creepy, creepy thought: I would love to interview the housekeeper to ask about the nature of her conversation with JeM that day.
