I haven’t looked but WS is usually absolutely tame compared to the spitfires occurring on SM.

As time moves on hopefully the RCMP will learn the answers to the reason these two children are missing. The longer it goes unsolved, the greater burden on each family especially if there’s deep, hostile divisions. My hope is they’re working with a trauma councillor who is able to ease their grief somewhat.

I never used to know how effective drones were, but when I heard on the scanner how they operate I was blown away. The pilot said there are 2 heat sources by the water, the searcher was directed to the exact spot, turned out it was 2 black figurine swans, that absorbed heat. I have every confidence in what they do now.

Okay well you might’ve noticed plenty of critical comments regarding DM’s behavior, not only MBMs. I’d call it close to 50/50. But that doesn’t mean either is being accused of foul play, although IMO there’s quite a good chance both might not be 100% truthful about the scenario of that morning. But they could have their reasons.

This is routinely how a case gets discussed here - Somebody brings forward an action or words that seems odd or unusual and other WS members presents an explanation from their point of view. It becomes a quasi learning journey for each of us.

I don’t think a lot of people realize (on Mother’s Day of all days!) how good most mothers are at pushing through when stuff like this happens. So that’s why it raises red flags when they abandon ship like she did.

They both have stories that don’t add up or in his case contradict previous statements. We just don’t know why. (In my opinion)

The last part about them being in bed it’s also interesting to note that he said he heard them in the kitchen playing and lily came in the room a few times and he told her that they need to be quiet… My issue with that is that he then claims he jumped out of bed as soon as he couldn’t hear them.

Why would them doing what you told them to do be the thing that triggers you to think something is wrong?

It annoys me him saying he's the only one fighting for them. Implying the mom, and other family nmembers, aren't doing anything just because they aren't talking to the media.

Not to mention the hundreds of people that came out to look for his kids.

It's possible that the children were capable of undressing/dressing themselves, hence the parents not being able to confirm what they may have been wearing at the time of their disappearance.

Last seen wearing, not *may be wearing* They should have had eyes on those kids at some point before 10 am. Jmo.

Also once the initial chaos of calling police I personally would check to see if any particular coats etc were missing and an updated notice could go out. They noticed the boots and backpack were gone.

The police would probably ask them to see if anything was missing.

If I give any credence to their version of events I'd argue that maybe Mom was supposed to be sleeping with the baby and Dad was supposed to be watching the kids and dropped the ball.

Could explain why she left and blocked him.

Exactly.

I made this point before. Him saying her family is accusing him doesn’t add up unless she was lying in her first interview. She said “we” did this “we” did that. If that is true then there is no reason why her, an adult mother wouldn’t be able to tell her family “he didn’t do anything I was with him” and calm the situation down so that everyone could participate in focusing on the kids.
