Do we think they even had a funeral. AS says he was not invited to the funeral, and doesn't know where the grave is. But is there a grave? Was there any kind of funeral?

I am not sure Mom and Grandma would have organised a formal, funeral , expecting others to publicly attend. I would think it would be more like a cremation, and perhaps a very very small number of close family members would pay their respects.

I don't think there was really anything to invite AS too. JMO

There is a list of circumstances that allow this to happen, and I certainly believe that notifying your child's father about something like this would be covered under those circumstances!

Nobody is offering her public "advise", we are talking about what she would have known . She would have been told all this when she took out the order and received a copy, she didn't need any public advice. We are talking about why she chose not to inform AS about the recording or any possible funeral arrangements.

Yes, we have no way of knowing if the ex-wife obtained a Protection order, the reason why or any conditions it might include.

So the general public is unable to give her advise. But complaint was not against her, it was against “authorities” so we are unable to resolve his situation because we lack information. But that’s what attorneys are for and apparently he has sought legal advise.

Of course he was deliberately excluded.

He has a past history of making violent threats and criminal harassment, so extreme that he was repeatedly sent to jail for that behaviour.

Why would the victims of that criminal behaviour reach out to him and invite him anywhere?

He burned those bridges himself, imo.

If I wanted to cremate my son's remains, and have 4 or 5 people to a funeral home to pay last respects, why would I be required to notify my ex, if he was someone who had criminally harassed me and my family for a decade?

Might Bryer have decided to end it all on his birthday? In that case he was 19 when he died.

I wonder what led this attorney to conclude the RCMP is going to publicly broadcast the “Last Will and Testament” of B&K? That’s utter nonsense, the voice of the dead will not happen IMO.

this is why I have issue with him not getting info. why would info harm anyone? they don't have to sit on the same bench at a funeral or even agree on anything to do with a funeral or memorial to give him info.

Who's with me in thinking that it was AS who leaked the info about the video to the media in the first place? Remember how the news at the time said that the person was a relative who had not seen the video? Someone leaked the info to him, but I think he's the one who spilled to the media.

I mentioned this earlier that is exactly what I think happened.

There are plenty of people apart from the ex who could have told him when BS was declared missing, when his body was found, identified and when the 30 secs of phone recording was released
