A first for me, plus Verme's reporting. What's all this about? Has anyone else heard this?
It was Henrietta who worked in the cafe. Eliza is the one said to have lost weight. She worked in a cafe.
Was she/they starving and too polite to ask at work for help/food?
Thanks for the correction on the sisters. It was Henrietta who worked in the cafe. Eliza is the one said to have lost weight.
Yes, my have been better/longer hours with a more regular income. Quite possible she was working as and when required. Agreed unlikely it was for better pay as such.If they were there for 10 years (this exact number has been all over), 6 of those years is a lot to move from a cleaning job to a cleaning job. I wonder what that change was about. I can’t imagine it was significantly better pay, maybe more consistency
He didn’t say what their cleaning jobs were there, I’ve been curious about it. Looks like he runs a contracted company. Wonder if they cleaned the boat club
Also noted it appears they were regular smokers which might have caused one of them to get ill. Presumably the police would already have spoken to their doctor to check on any medical issues. Difficult to judge from one report but it does seem they were very private individuals and few knew them.^ From that this part stood out to me the most and makes me think the theory about one of them being seriously ill could be right.
"The family had never been to Scotland in ten years, and the girls had only been home twice, in 2019 and 2022."
Can't help but feel
I just hope they didn't feel completely isolated if they were facing some issues.
But where did they go from there? And how: by boat? And with whom: a boat driver? And why not officially leave from a train/bus station at Costa Coffee for example? If Eliza ever worked at the boat club, maybe she knew how to get in, and tinkered with their cameras.
We'll probably never know. But where did they go from there? And how: by boat? And with whom: a boat driver? And why not officially leave from a train/bus station at Costa Coffee for example?
Were they fleeing from brutal debt collectors? Speculation of course. An escape, where you leave everything behind, must have been worth it.
MOO

I wondered about this earlier. Would their medical records be disclosed to the police? They are missing persons,so must be presumed to be alive. Also noted it appears they were regular smokers which might have caused one of them to get ill. I feel like there might have been a lot they didn't tell them, so I wouldn't be surprised if they kept illness secret too.I could be wrong but assume if one of them had a physical illness they would tell their family, because why not? And weight loss could be as simple as changing from the typical western diet to healthy "clean eating," which is trending nowadays. Obviously something was going on, though. JMO.
I highly doubt that.I wondered about this earlier. Would their medical records be disclosed to the police? They are missing persons,so must be presumed to be alive.
They didn't tell their family that they were giving up their flat and planning to disappear.I could be wrong but assume if one of them had a physical illness they would tell their family, because why not?
