I said this before but there is someone else that notes living in Aberdeen and has the same last name and is from Hungary.

I’m not sure I ever got this answer but is this unique or would this be fairly common last name to relocate from Hungary to Aberdeen?

It’s possible it’s further discussed in the chat or whatever but I am not in that

I had not heard about there being another Hungarian with the same surname. I presume if there was a connection it would have been mentioned by now.

I wonder if the sisters would have spoke to family if they had something bad going on in their lives. I might be totally wrong, but they didn’t visit home a lot, I wonder how close they were to their family or if they preferred just it being the two of them ? If something not great was going on and they just stuck to themselves rather than telling someone I can imagine that massively having a toll on their mental state.

I wonder if any major newspapers have tried to get the landlady to tell what she knows. It seems that the sisters were mysterious, kept themselves to themselves, had hardly any friends.

And yet, she received a single text message and was so concerned that she visited them, raised the alarm and as a result of what she told them the police jumped into action.

Some people might have assumed that text, whatever it said, was just a tenant being rubbish, or saying they were going to go and then changing their mind.

JMO but she at least knew them well enough to know that something was seriously wrong. And I don't believe that was just about their 'stuff being there'. It was the fact that there stuff was there and she knew that wasn't like them, if that makes sense?!

Curious that she didn't speak to the Hungarian reporter. I wonder if she has spoken to the family.

I agree but with some tenants you might wait a couple of days. Confirm they aren't just flaking around or got delayed.

Given LE said there was nothing specific in the flat to indicate self harm or an intention to disappear.

I am surprised tbh. Not that she went round to investigate, but that she took action so fast.

Can someone clarify something for me please? The interview with the former boss of the cleaning sister (Eliza?) was done very recently. In it, I believe he says Eliza was working for him when she texted him in August 2024 to give her 2 weeks notice because she had a new job, but she didn't elaborate. He then goes on to say she had lost a lot of weight since then. Did he stay it touch with her, or is he just referring to photos he's seen that have been released via the media? Is Eliza the one seen in what looks like a work ID photo, with a fuller face?

On the topic of weight loss....
IF indeed she had lost a lot of weight since August, there can be many causes. Here's what comes to mind without thinking too much:
Anxiety/Depression
Eating disorder
Dieting, both in a healthy way and using unhealthy, extreme measures
Illness
Exercise addiction
Drug addiction
Poverty (prioritising a roof over their heads instead of food)

Has anyone mentioned whether Henrietta had also lost weight? They seem to do things in tandem. Still seems odd to me that nobody has come forward in the way of friends or lovers to talk about them. The best the Hungarian reporter could do is get a former boss of one to talk, and a neighbour who says she saw them smoking. That suggests to me they had no friends, just each other. Not a healthy lifestyle IMHO, and easy to get fixated and drawn in to the other one's struggles, especially as twins/triplets. The police have mentioned earlier that they appear to have a normal life, even indicating they have a social life. I'd love to know what that consisted of. Did it involve the sisters going out to dinner together? Enjoying sporting activities together? Or did they actually, really mingle with others and have some sort of friendships?

Agreed, but it might just be a case of appearing to lead normal lives, and presenting a front to the world of being happy, sociable women, when things were actually very different in reality. It seems it's quite common to appear "normal", lead what appears to be a "normal", happy life, and then commit suicide in what appears to be "out of the blue".

How many times have we heard "he was a nice guy, kept to himself" when we find out who a serial killer is, or who committed the latest heinous crime. Looks (and even actions) can be very deceiving. (I'm in no way comparing the sisters to, or suggesting they are, serial killers or criminals) I don't think we'll ever hear from anyone close to them, outside of the family (who don't even seem that close to them in reality). Reason being, I don't think there were any people close to them. We may hear from people they had to interact with (colleagues, employers, customers, store owners etc) but I don't think they had friends, just each other. By choice? Nobody knows. Maybe they felt the other was the only person they needed, who understood them.

The one with the fuller face is Henrietta. Eliza always looks pretty slim in the pictures released so far. It did cross my mind that she didn't have much weight to lose to start with but then again we have no idea when the photos were taken.
