Is Terri's arrest imminent?

Yes I think Terri's arrest is imminent. Soon as the Grand Jury finishes collecting evidence on the case.

Don't forget Kyron is under the age of 16. FBI has had him on their web site as Kidnapped since he was reported missing. Also, by Oregon state law it is not necessary to take anyone (even an adult) across state lines for it to constitute the crime of kidnapping. Here's the criteria with Oregon Code numbers:

Where they could get her on interstate commerce is phone, text messaging, email. That's federal. IF she told someone & they used those means to talk about it, even if she didn't know they emailed, texted, phoned it to someone else; she's still guilty under those statutes.

The government is not required to prove that a defendant intended or knew that the mails or any other facility of interstate commerce would be used or that interstate travel would occur.

Wow! Could we please have a link to where the FBI has him classified as kidnapped?

TIA

ETA: I just searched and this page on the FBI site is all I could find:

http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/kidnap/horman_kr.htm

Nothing where he's classified as kidnapped. Could you please provide info on where you saw this?

I thought in a recent interview the DA was quick to point out they prosecute cases without a body. He immediately qualified it when he realized what he had said but it did stick out to me. I think they've been moving in that direction for some time now and with it looking like Dede is ripe for a deal I think it could happen soon.

She could be called, I think. She has not been named a suspect and she is the last person known to have been in charge of him. Technically are they investigating Terri or the disappearance of Kyron?

If the prosecutor convened the GJ in order to obtain an indictment against Terri, then she can't appear.

Maybe, and maybe this will be brought before a Federal GJ and there'll be a Federal case somewhere down the line... but I doubt it. The primary and most likely charge is related to Kyron's abduction and probable murder.

I feel you tehcloser. I just climbed down from the fence and I agree an arrest of Terri is imminent. It will take place by week's end.

I don't think there will be an arrest that quickly, unless the grand jury is back in action today or tomorrow. Not sure what would have changed. Still no Kyron. Apparently, no witness to Terri taking Kyron. And if Dede did not talk yesterday, that did not move the case forward.

Still wanna know what she would be indicted for, Murder?? No proof of that, that we know of, Kidnapping?? Could they even charge her with that??

The strange thing is I'm still on the fence, but I do think they will arrest her.

There has to be a specific charge, and that is still where I am stuck. She says she left the school alone and went about her day. Regardless of what her day consisted of, do they have any proof she had Kyron in her possession at any time after 8:45AM? That is the big question to me. Even if his body were to be found today, how does that relate to Terri?

I mentioned on the dateline thread, I will be the last to try to wrestle you down from that fence. The last few days I had been clinging to it with fingernails. I have finally let myself drop but I will never try to pull you off it. You'll eventaully land, one side or the oterh, and I will still be interested in hearing your thoughts ;)

According to this article it could be weeks before DS goes back to testify.. If we are waiting on the GJ for an arrest I believe your right it won't be soon.

"Spicher's attorney, Chad Stavely, said Spicher was asked no questions but told to return, possibly within a few weeks."

I am still fence sitting regarding Terri harming/abducting/killing Kyron.

To date, all we have is the family targeting Terri without Le producing any evidence to back them up, comments from so called friends, a lot of media articles based on 'unnamed sources', and a great many internet rumours.

In fact, LE is keeping mum on this whole case. :banghead: While that protects their case, it sure fustrates those of us following this.

So far, I cannot come up with sufficent grounds to arrest ANYBODY, least of all Terri. Accusations, rumours, and name calling just doesen't do it for me.

Take away all the sordid family details, and I am still left with the important questions...what happened to Kyron? Where is he now? :(

I am not sure an arrest is imminent on charges concerning Kyron's disappearance.

But I do believe since Kaine was briefed by LE for three hours late last week that there could be charges on the MFH.

It would explain why Desiree and Tony were not at that meeting because they have no part or legal interest in the MFH plot.

And with DD being Terri's best friend I am sure she knew the landscaper in question very well and would know the full relationship he and Terri may have had.

LE may be wanting to do the "Croslin" move but I am very doubtful even if Terri is arrested on the MFH plot that she will breakdown and tell what she knows about Kyron's disappearance.

IMO
