why would they risk bringing evidence of thier crime (if it involves a dead body)

What I heard Savannah say on this most recent message.

Reading this again, it is clearly ambiguous. I think the most likely explanation is that the perp has refused to provide proof of life or to comment on whether she is alive or dead, but has simply said they will return NG if they pay. So the family have agreed, but are holding out hope she may be alive (but are very carefully not assuming anything, hence the deliberately ambiguous language which could read as both hope for life, but acknowledgement it may be return of a body).

I covered both of those cases and sadly, I went to see McStay in jail with McStay's daughter, a sweet young woman who was SO DESPERATE to prove that her father was innocent. McStay lead me down a lot of rabbit holes. Another mess... But still, not as crazy as what happened to JBR and what's going on now with Nancy.

They all look so tired and sad. I hope they didn’t get a message that NG is dead and if they want her body back they have to pay.

Absolutely. It’s clear they were told she’s dead, and now she’s saying they’ll pay for the body.

I get this vibe too but why would a kidnapper who hasn't received payment reveal she's dead? That's their only leverage. If they were that desperate to get paid they would've provided proof of life. Could this be some sign of remorse by the author of the ransom?

Good point about them possibly having cloud. I'm not an expert on technical issues but surely someone can answer these questions...

If they had ring cameras it would definitely prove the uber account, and how and when she went home.

If AC and SIL had their own security system it would back their story. It could tell the police when it was started and stopped at any time. Cameras would show anyone leaving that house that night Unless turned off, am I right?

In regards to SGs new instagram post. First impression is that NG is dead (idk why a kidnapper would admit that since it's their only leverage).
