If AB source is correct, they have been aware early on that there was evidence enough to suspect "someone" in particular. So some evidence was already pointing that way. We don't know if it was phone/watch or something else from the house. Whatever info they had before AB told us about her source was already pointing in this direction. IF her source is correct.

Other than being supposedly the last person to see NG alive, what makes SIL a suspect? He has been in the family for many years, has a respectable job ... what makes people suspect him? I don't believe finances are the driving factor here. NG is 84, at some point in the not too distant future they would be getting a share of inheritance. What do we know about SIL otherwise?

Possible the perpetrator(s) involved in this have been traced. In order to gather solid evidence and be sure the perpetrator(s) will be convicted, they aren't revealing much of what they know and are gathering rock-solid evidence before giving the public more information. JMO
Especially given the very dramatic knee jerk response to AB's initial revelation that SIL was possibly the person of interest. She was out on her own at the time, it wasn't every reporter, yet it justified the Sheriff releasing a very pointed press release.

If SIL has been their focus from days ago, and they already have alot of evidence that is been kept away from the public/reporters, then understandably they wanted this discussion of SIL shut down quickly to not compromise the investigation IMO

I would think that aspect would be easier to prove - even if door cam's on NG's street aren't helpful b/c of lot size, I think saying Car X left House A and drove to House B at Y time would be easier to prove/disprove.
Do you know if a camera can detect the passengers in a car via nighttime video? Would NG be actually seen in the car, or just the exterior of the car?
Video of the car moving from point A to point B would bolster the SIL's account, but not prove it unless NG can be seen in the car?

Do any blood spatter experts know if you’d be able to stage the blood? How? Syringe?

maybe, and maybe LE have kept alot more to their chest than we thought...
Seems that revealing a lot of information to the public could get in the way of what LE needs to do to build a solid case against the perpetrator(s). LE knows far more than about all of this than the rest of us. JMO

The watch was charging in her bedroom. It was connected via Bluetooth to her pacemaker. After about 30 feet, Bluetooth drops out, so as NG was removed from her house, her pacemakers connection to her watched disappeared/dropped

Jmo
Correct. At some point that watch was removed and placed on the charging device. I’m speculating the removal may have happened at front door causing a skin tear? I’m unsure how many feet from the front door NG’s bedroom is?

P

Meaning that they staged it using her blood pouring it in the house and outside the door?
the blood wasn't smeared ... or a possible shoe print; even a corner of a shoe ... some of it should have been smeared if they were removing her from the home ... just all drops -- except the one patch of blood; that appears as if it was from nose/throat (from the lab results)

<modsnip: quoted post removed>

FWIW, when all the news started pouring in about the activity at AG's house it was a good 15 minutes until it finally clicked for me that it wasn't at NG's house!

Can you get good fingerprints off of a rock?
The FBI can with some new kind of magnetic fingerprint powder that has been developed to get fingerprints off of porous surfaces. It was discussed in a video with Brian Entin and Maureen O'Connell, former FBI.

Yes, I’m thinking this could’ve been a reason for LE visiting Circle K yesterday (?) requesting surveillance cameras footage looking for a vehicle of interest. Wasn’t it said this circle K was very close to AG/SIL’s home?

More Lifetime or Oxygen, less Hallmark. I'm not picturing a lovely ending here.
Lifetime
What on earth could be going on at AG house? No one is supposed to be there right now.
Do you think they were all asked to go to hotels and not be there because they had a feeling SIL was the perp but didn't want public to catch on? Like make it look like the family left due to privacy but really they were told they believe the house was a 2nd crime scene.

I don't think LE has released anything but it is possible (actually definite) that they know more about that night than what has been said publicly about people's whereabouts or internet/phone activity.

Also we don't really know anything about NG or her family except for Savannah's very public facing role. We don't know what family dynamics were like. People kill people for all kind of reasons even reasons that don't make sense to most people.

FWIW I don't think they're looking for a body.

I think they're looking for something that the ransomer manipulated.

GHI thinks maybe LE put a camera IN and was removing it.

JMO
That’s what I’m thinking. Maybe LE put camera there after the abduction in case perp went back?? Fam would have known if there was a camera on roof and if they didn’t, they wouldn’t have missed that. They are retrieving one they placed there or the object is not a camera

My mind is on overdrive and may soon explode.
I'm thinking now, was SG's video today staged, as in SG knows more than she is saying? Trying to think this through...or discard the thought.
I thought that SG's use of the world "celebrate" during the video was a bit odd. A bit too positive for such a horrible situation. I think it was either a code word that the kidnapper told SG to say OR SG's video response was 100% drafted by LE to keep the ransom story going until they can gather enough evidence for an arrest.

Almost too neat and perfect

What if:

- there was a request for a loan by a host a small family gathering, and it was declined
-someone became enraged and another person was injured and died, and the hosts of the gathering try to think what to do
-one of the hosts takes the deceased’s Apple Watch and collects some blood and walks over to the deceased’s house and enters through the garage just before 10pm, backing victims car out of the garage
-that host stages the crime scene, watch and blood.
-that host drives back to his house in victim’s car and puts victim in that car then drives around to find a place to hide the body
-then that host drives back to his house
-the next morning when the hosts go to victims house they take their car and victims car. Enter home by the garage, parking the victims car back in garage before LE comes.

*LE tows victim’s car days later after a license plate reader indicated the car was being driven around that night.

And after that bedtime story/fairy tale, it’s off to dreamland for me! Goodnight, friends!
