RSBM...Also, has Grice's wife filed for divorce?
I would really like to know that, too. Or, is she standing by her man?

To my way of thinking, Tad likely believed he HAD killed JK when he may have paralyzed her. However, since his intent was to murder her and he was involved in a conspiracy to kill two women, whether the final killing wound was inflicted by TC or PG is completely immaterial, as I see it. TC was there to kill JK and he at least horribly maimed her and believed he had killed her.I don't think anything will save Tad from a jury believing he was deaf and blind to the atrocities of March 30! Seems to me Tad's defense is hoping to spare him the death penalty by blaming PG for JK's death but I think the family of the victims have already expressed mercy for the defendants to serve life sentences so not necessary to take up this pointless version that Tad just waited outside taking in fresh air. In a legal filing in September, prosecutors had alleged Cullum stabbed the second woman. Prosecutors may back away from that allegation at trial but still say Cullum is responsible.

@vls12345 just replying to clarify, I focused on there having been a week to abandon their depraved scheme because of Cora Twombly's testimony that Tad Cullum had been added to the murder team only a week prior to the killings. She testified they were worried he might drunkenly blab something, so he was kept in the dark until then.
Not Tad but Cora's husband Cole added to the team only a week prior because TA afraid of his drinking problem and loose lips...@vls12345 just replying to clarify, I focused on there having been a week to abandon their depraved scheme because of Cora Twombly's testimony that Tad Cullum had been added to the murder team only a week prior to the killings. In her testimony, she also claimed her husband Cole Twombly did not know about the plan until the week before because Adams didn’t want him involved because he was known to drink and was scared the word would get around.
RSBM.

I haven't looked for a divorce filing, but it's been reported that Grice's wife and kids left town.RSBM...

Does it creep anyone else out that his wife (ex-wife?) has the same last name as one of the victims?RSBM...

I believe it was Cole Twombly who was added just a week prior. According to Cora’s (?) testimony, he was left out because he would get chatty when he was drinking, and the others feared he might talk about the plan.
I’ll go find a link.
Thank you both for the correction. The details of this devastating case are so important to me.Not Tad but Cora's husband Cole added to the team only a week prior because TA afraid of his drinking problem and loose lips...
Please file for divorce. This man is being tried for murder of two unarmed, innocent females. He's never coming home.RSBM...

I wonder if she knew before he planned to participate in the murder of two innocent women. If not, when did she learn he was a killer of helpless women? Grice is a monster same as the others. Please file for divorce. This man is being tried for murder of two unarmed, innocent females. He's never coming home.
FWIW, she says she knew nothing about the murders. So far, I haven't seen any reason not to believe her. MOOI wonder if she knew before he planned to participate in the murder of two innocent women. If not, when did she learn he was a killer of helpless women? Grice is a monster same as the others.
I tend to agree that she knew nothing beforehand, but I can't quite get behind the idea that she didn't at least have some strong suspicions after the fact given how he was acting. Especially once she knew about the arrests of his "friends" and his own injury.FWIW, she says she knew nothing about the murders. So far, I haven't seen any reason not to believe her. MOO
Residents of Guymon, Oklahoma, who spoke to NewsNation said he lived with his wife and kids out in the country. Grice’s wife, NewsNation was told, has since left town with the children and says she knew absolutely nothing about the alleged killings.![]()
Paul Grice, suspect in Kansas moms killings, can’t afford attorney
Paul Grice, 31, was arrested and charged in the kidnappings and murders of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley.www.newsnationnow.com
Assuming she can afford an attorney.I tend to agree that she knew nothing beforehand, but I can't quite get behind the idea that she didn't at least have some strong suspicions after the fact given how he was acting. Especially once she knew about the arrests of his "friends" and his own injury.
That said, if I were in her shoes I wouldn't voluntarily admit to knowing anything (there is no upside) and I would do whatever I could to distance myself & kids from the entire situation while maintaining the lowest possible profile. I would also let an attorney guide me through the process of legally protecting myself & children while disentangling myself from PG for good.
Paul & his current partner were not actually legally married.RSBM.
Exactly. And it wasn't a week to snap out of it & abandon their plan. They had an earlier, previous plan (in February) to kill VB by throwing an anvil off the back of a truck onto her car.
Also, has Grice's wife filed for divorce?
I wondered about that, especially given all the weird stuff about renouncing the government, but every news article had referred to them as being married.Paul & his current partner were not actually legally married.
Don't know how old the children are, but if they are young, they don't need to know details. Mom also doesn't need to visit prison with (or without) them. He's not going to be out - if ever - before they are adults. IMO he can cry in court everyday, but that's not bringing back these women to their children. Learned early in life that tears don't change anything.I wondered about that, especially given all the weird stuff about renouncing the government, but every news article had referred to them as being married.
I'm glad she can more or less walk away & hopefully give the kids a stable home far from the insanity. It's not like he is in any position to make demands about visitation and she wouldn't be getting any child-support. A divorce would only have added costs & a paper trail.
