Summary of evidence the prosecution intended to present, most of which we knew.
Kohberger purchased the knife with an Amazon gift card (Hippler had mentioned this previously).
No evidence the defendant had direct contact with the residence or its occupants.
Just that his phone puts him in the area.Phone left Pullman residence the morning of the murders. Phone Turned OFF.
Surveillance of a business on Moscow/Pullman highway that shows vehicle matching description of Kohberger's car entering Moscow at 3:02.
Video shows vehicle entering and leaving area around the house at around 3:30. Car parked behind and above King road residence after 4:05. He then entered through back sliding door. Went to third floor and killed MM and KG with a knife.The blood on the sheath was from KG and MM.
Xana was still awake at this point. As he was coming down stairs or leaving he encountered Xana and killed her with a large knife. Ethan was asleep and Kohberger killed him as well.No evidence of any sexual component to this, and suffered multiple wounds.
DM saw Kohberger, and defendant's car is later seen leaving at a high rate of speed at 4:20. Car almost loses control as it exits.
Kohberger drove south of Moscow using backroads, as main roads have cameras and there was nothing captured.He was likely parked at an intersection on a rural road when he turned his phone back on.Phone returned to the area of King road around 9:00. Returned to residence after about 10 minutes
.Took a selfie around 9:30 in the bathroom with his thumbs up.Began searching for a Ka-Bar knife and sheath again, to replace one left at scene of murders.Attempts to delete or alter Amazon purchase history.
Changed his car registration from Pennsylvania to Washington. Important because of the lack of a front license plate captured on camera (PA only requires one).
DNA on a q-tip in trash was identified as coming from his father (don't think we knew the specific item before).The knife has not yet been recovered.Apartment and office were searched (spartan). Nothing of evidentiary value was found (6-8 weeks after murders).Car was disassembled. Talks about car being absolutely spotless. "Meticulously cleaned inside."This was part of the plan covering this up.
He's studied crime. References the paper he wrote. Had the knowledge and skill.Just a quick overview of the evidence. This would have actually taken weeks in court.Will not represent that he intended to commit all the murders that night, but that's what he did.

We will all likely never know what motivated BK to kill those 4 students.
He will take "why" to his grave. It was probably his hero worship of serial killers.
I'll also just guess he followed one of the girls home from their restaurant and then saw how excellent the "view" was from the back parking area (hidden in the shadows of the dark trees) just sitting in his car. Probably being a Peeping Tom and fanaticizing about killing the one girl in the 3rd floor room.
