Wild tales of her dad perishing in a private jet crash (dirt poor family), being hospitalized after being attacked by her housecat... so many others.
Most alarmingly to me: This woman had a child. SOMEBODY SLEPT WITH THIS WOMAN. Sorry, that was mean... I'll go hide in my corner now.
Does someone need to call this in? I've never done one, but will try if it will help somebody!
Right down to the Angel Flight pants (popular in the disco era when Stanley went missing)... UID range 1-10 years in '89, '77 would put it at 12 years, definitely within the margin of error.
I wonder where Surratt was in Oct. 1973? There is a thread on here for Patricia Seelbaugh, a 17 year old girl who disappeared without a trace less than an hour North of Pittsburgh. Lived in an area that was heavily trucked at the time, due to the strip mines-- someone mentioned Surratt was a...
I believe the male she was last seen with was cleared by police at the time. Local suspicion is that she is somewhere in the many strip mines nearby, where he (and many others in the area at the time) hauled coal.
Just wanted to pop this back up on the thread, as it is local. I don't...
An old college roommate of mine used to refer to guys she couldn't stand (usually her roommates' boyfriends) as "IT"
IT ate all the taquitos. IT was chewing tobacco in the bathtub. IT let my cat out...
...but I can say I have been happily married to IT for 8 years, and he no longer...
Agreed.
Can I recommend a FB just for further reading (not related to the case, but outing a faux rescue?) "Pleasant View Farm Equine Rehab and Services - not" - lots of commentary on the owner/"rescuer's" criminal history, shady dealings, etc.
Thank you, Bernina! I tried to point this out a while ago, even directed everyone to Google faux or pseudo-rescues (trader masquerade!)- but was met with only a chorus of IM is a saint! She is helping the purrrrdy ponies!
In my mind, a "good" rescue, only takes on those horses which are...
Good thought. It may be Erin's. It is quite possible she texted (imessaged) CL with her iPod so as not to keep any suspicious texts in her phone where hubby could might look over her shoulder and chance to see them..
Board may have been quite expensive at the ranch (not to mention, I believe it was quite a drive from base!) versus $100 or less/month on base. IM may have been "overcrowded" - many horses on a small acreage, or if she wanted her off her property "I only have room for the Rescue's own horses"
Speaking from experience with a military stable, they didn't require anything out of the ordinary: same vaccines required on your yearly "Health Cert" (for Fairs/Shows, etc) - plus a Coggins. The rabies vaccine MUST be administered by a vet, and the Coggins must be drawn by a vet within the last...
Good thought. Thinking back to Rescues, usually they check vet references for potential adopters to make sure the horse will receive regular medical care (immunizations, etc). But they generally do not "adopt" horses that have not been fully vetted already...
