Don't think I've ever seen a more concise, efficient, complete take-down of an opposing party's experts. Martinez and DeMarte have smart, no-nonsense, get-to-the-point, don't-condescend-to-the-jury styles that are perfectly matched. Beautiful.

Didn't hear the entire thing, but if the issue is rough treatment of the witness in the depo, can't opposing attorneys make objections on the record during the depo regarding that...and if they don't, isn't it too late to bring it up way down the road?

The judge did mention to ALV, "You'll have made preparations" by Tuesday. That comment made me wonder if she might spend a night in jail, but the judge was probably just referring to ALV's scheduling/appts or such. Will be interesting to see what transpires.

Such a shame that there isn't a dignified trial coverage channel. I applaud Beth for maintaining her professionalism amidst the circus coverage. She's the only one I ever un-mute.

I would love to see the juror questions that didn't make the final cut. If these are the allowed ones, imagine what the disallowed ones might be.

Someone doesn't have to be "a really good liar" to be a grand and/or habitual liar. Just look at our politicians.

Careful, JW. In eliciting that TA had so much to lose if his secret life were discovered, the other side of that coin is also exposed. It gave JA something to use as blackmail against TA - a means of controlling and threatening him, keeping him from being able to completely break free of her...

Maybe the judge is fashioning an instruction to the jury or admonishment to the witness for her obfuscation. One can hope.
