I also think, when it comes to accidental death, there are two "types"....one is a legitimate accident- she fell and hit her head, got hit with a baseball, drowned, etc. In that case it is, I agree, hard to discern why a parent would cover that up (looking at you, Casey). The other type of...

I don't think anyone's saying it's physically impossible for a perp to enter a home with three dogs. I personally find it unlikely that a stranger did so in this case, with 3 vocal dogs and a family that hasn't been cleared. Outside anecdotal evidence aside, my own experience with dogs leads me...

And to clarify, I was not saying otherwise. Just hypothesizing that IF the dogs did not bark that night, what that could indicate. Unfortunately history has told us that even with dogs in the house, a stranger can enter and leave with the child with no one noticing. History has also told us...

It's still quite risky to break into a house with 3 dogs. Moreso, imo, if the perp knew they would bark! The perp wouldn't know if the family would ignore them. My dog barks outside a lot, but if she barks in the middle of the night, it would scare me to death. All it would take is one person...

Especially when we're talking THREE dogs, and dogs with a reputation for barking. Neighbors heard those dogs bark regularly...what perp would bet that all three dogs would be quiet at night? A perp who had spent the night? A perp who knew the dogs didn't sleep near Isabel? A perp known to...

Speculation, sorry to say! At this morning's presser, LE asked for any footage people may have from the ballpark that night...which led to a snowball effect here of people speculating what they were looking for. One thought was that they wanted to see if Isabel ever left the park...which led to...

I feel like we haven't discussed these lake searches very much. Any theories? Just a normal course of investigation, or something more? I know they were acting on a tip. I wonder what kind of tip would lead them to water, but not a specific body of water? Did a POI show up wet? Mud on the...

I just wanted to say, even though I disagree with your latest theory, I respect it nonetheless. I hadn't thought of it. None of us know what happened and it's only natural to banter back and forth about how we think things might have gone, asking questions and poking holes. It isn't personal...

And let's remember, this is all assuming the family took 2 cars. They could ALL have been there until 11, leaving no room for anyone to have assumed the other parent had Isabel.

At the presser today, LE expressed lots of interest in getting photos/video from the ballpark that night. Which is what led to the speculation that she either did not leave the ballpark, or they are looking for a POI in the footage.

Then how to explain the window? This makes more sense to me than it being a complicit conspiracy from the get go, but it doesn't explain the window being tampered with. Does anyone know, would the dogs somehow signal that there was no "fresh scent" in Isabel's bed? If she didn't sleep there...

Assuming the mom left around 7:30, that gives him half an hour to get to the park, do a not very thorough search of the park, and get back to "find her missing". He'd be better off spending that time at the park actually looking for his daughter instead of concocting a kidnapping scheme. He'd...

BBM- I agree with everything else, but can we really say Isabel disappeared from the house? I understand what you're saying about the simplest answer, but I am just not comfortable saying that she disappeared from her house. We simply don't know that she returned that night. To use the same...

I'm just not sure that the logical thing to do when, discovering you and your spouse accidentally and innocently left your child at a park overnight, is to stage a home kidnapping. Her mom went to work around 7:30am, just half an hour before her dad noticed Isabel was gone. So what's the...

If a family member is responsible for what happened to her, why would they call the police to the scene of the crime?

You're right, this has since been corrected. It appears his parents live nearby, and I am still unclear on the relation of the uncle, but I was just repeating speculation that he lived down the street. But it was just that- speculation.

This is the direction that I am leaning. Rather, that she "came home with Dad", who "put her to bed". And then mom did not check on her in the morning, so she may have had no idea.

Unless they flagged him down while waiting for first responders. Personally I think it's more likely that the neighbor was slightly off on her times, as any witness could be. Doesn't mean she's a liar, doesn't mean we have to throw out everything she said. It just means we have to take her...

Well, with all the talk in the presser about video from the park, there were questions as to which park they were at the night of her disappearance. There were also questions as to whether or not that park was one that was searched yesterday. And personally I wanted to double check that there...

I believe you're right- the Yankees played a game that Friday at 7:30 pm at Freedom Park. Isabel's team appeared to have a 9am game on Saturday, also at Freedom Park.
