The above (NamUs) says he was supposed to meet his family at the lake but never showed. The texasbowhunter.com post says that he was at the family function on the 4th, but was asked to leave. If he was at the lake, who was he in contact with? Something isn't adding up.
That is odd. I haven't seen anything on the local News about this case. Just learning about it. I'd hate to see it swept under the rug because of LE suspecting drugs are involved :(
After looking at the topography map from OkieGranny, it sure seems less likely that the family surrendered after getting lost because the remains were on a flat area in close proximity to roads. Given this, it also seems more easily accessible by a perp, either to dump bodies or take them there...

I have to admit, Mitch1, this is the first time I've actually understood why you so strongly think WPP. I don't think that's what happened to this family, but that explained your argument pretty well IMO. Thank you.
I agree with all of this. Those are all the scenarios playing out in my mind, too. Very interesting about the 14 years served, then getting out the year before the disappearance. How close of a vicinity are you talking?
And yes, the keys will be a huge factor in this. If we find out that...
For those of you not from around here....Yes, this is a well known problem in OK. A joke really. It was brought to the public eye when the freezers broke several years back, and the state was like ummm, we need temporary stations for how many???
Maybe I'm imagining things now, but does it look like a person standing back on the right side of the storage container, down by the street? Or is that just part of the tree?
ETA: maybe it's a mailbox....then the tree is in the way....??
Yikes! Get sick and stay away one day, now I'm 5 pages behind! Gotta go play catch up now. Just read the updated timeline, OKieGranny. You are so awesome! Thanks so much for your dedication!
I hate to create opinions on what happened to this family based on stereotypes and assumptions of people in this part of the country, but in all honesty, I don't think it should be overlooked. Born and raised in OK, I can tell you, this part of the state has a reputation for its unorthodox...
