Sure. Basically nothing has changed since day 1. That is all.

As a lifelong resident of a small, rural Midwestern town very similar to Brooklyn, IA I'm going to respectfully disagree. If the townspeople suspect for a second that somebody they know is involved they will absolutely speak up. Nobody is keeping quiet because they don't want to get the perp...

The only thing that would make a corn field a good place to hide a body is the fact that the entire state of Iowa is covered in them and they are massive so there are hundreds of square miles to choose from. And if you were ambitious enough you could easily walk for miles in one undetected...

That is because you're looking at the outer rows which are running parallel to the road. If you step in and look down the rows you'll see that there is plenty of room between the bases of the plants. There has to be in order to harvest it with a combine.

I've got a question. What would happen if the local, presiding LE agency suspected that one of their own might be involved in a case like this? Would they be tasked with essentially "policing themselves" or would an outside agency such as the FBI be called in to handle the case?

But this level of Federal assistance seems excessive for a single missing persons case. I've seen many others that didn't garner a fraction of this level of Federal assistance. The question is why?

I saw that. It doesn't really address my questions posted earlier at all. Based on that, a person could throw out any random "tip" like a dart at a board and, if it somehow turned out to be right and resulted in her safe return, they'd get the reward money. Like playing the lottery without...

There are other reasons that the Feds might get heavily involved. Like if they suspect sex trafficking, drug trafficking, serial killer, presiding law enforcement officer involvement, ect.

Thanks for the link. Unless I missed a page, all that says is that basically the donor can choose to have the funds refunded or donate them to the family after 8/1/202o. Were there other specifics regarding how the tips are received, tipsters vetted, ect?

If the answer is that she is near sighted (or far sighted) how does that impact your thoughts on this case? Just curious as I'm not sure the significance of this detail.

I'm curious, if this was the case, what would you postulate differently than what you might based on the currently assumed and accepted facts? I'm not understanding the point of batting back and forth ideas that are relatively trivial given the case as we currently understand it.

There is no proof that they have done multiple searches of his property. It has been reported that he allowed them to search his home without a warrant and that they took him down to the fire station for questioning and kept his phone overnight. There is also a report that they searched property...

There are about 10,000 people in Keokuk, I'm going to go out on a limb and report that there are black SUV's there. Suspicious, black SUVs

Just to help you catch up, this forum was shut down not long ago due, at least in part, to people profiling WC based on his TV appearance. You are only allowed to repeat things that have already been said in the MSM, no speculating at all about anybody.

You could use this same logic regarding this forum and many others that are much more liberal in their allowance of 'sleuthing'. I've wondered before what would happen if I accidentally posted a theory that turned out to be exactly correct and the perp read it. Next thing you know, he figures...

Regarding the reward money, I've got a question. If somebody phones in a tip that is simply pulled from thin air, say "The victim is in a blue shipping container 10 miles south of Davenport..." and LE go to this general area and locate the victim, would the tipster get the money even if it was...

I'm curious as well. I've heard other chatter about this hog farm in Guerney and possibly some association with it and an individual loosely tied to this case on other forums.
