Where does the expertise in grief fit in??????

  • #1,682
"On Thursday, the defense said it wanted to introduce a new witness, a grief counselor named Dr. Sally Karioth, to explain Casey's behavior after Caylee allegedly drowned.

The potential witness may be the same Dr. Karioth listed as a professor at Florida State University's College of Nursing."

She's like Casey, loves talking about herself.

A grief counselor who wanted to be an actress? Can't wait for this one...
Casey also wanted to be an actress. I guess they'll relate.

  • #1,686
I'm thinking she may not be qualified as an expert.

  • #1,687
The good doctor must be related to the Anthonys because she cannot answer a question in a straightforward manner...

Hope 'Sally' doesn't go into her comedy routine.

Well...she did try to break into the world of musical theatre 100 years ago:innocent:

  • #1,695
Whoa, totally self promoting! Ugly and inappropriate! :furious:

  • #1,696
Wow - this witness is in love with herself!

  • #1,697
So is she going to sing 'n dance her testimony? Otherwise, why would a musical theater background be important?

Where on her list of degrees and training (besides teaching a class on death) is she qualifed to be considered an expert on grief?

(Mods that's a serious question) She hasn't established any post graduate work in psychology or post graduate work in grief. Has she been published? I don't understand. She is very qualifed to teach as she does. But as an expert on grief? UHhhhh I'm not sure.
