Only because Ashton must have such a big ego, I don't care to compliment him, but he is too good to be true as an attorney. He knows exactly what to say or ask on even the most difficult subjects.

ITA, except I believe that ego-driven lawyers put their faces on billboards, or show up pro-bono in high-profile cases. Maybe I love JA too much to be impartial tho! LOl!

Anyone here from London? Was the case covered at all there?

Yes, it was covered occasionally in the UK Daily Mail - sensationalist tabloid with lots of photos..

This is my first post but have been reading at this site for days. This testimony about grief is making me crazy. My father and his friend molested me when I was very young and my father continued into my teens. I also lost a child that was my heart and soul. Never in anybodies wildest dreams did I behave in this manner. It makes me sick that they are making excuses for ICA.
I'm so sorry.

Susan Smith trial...

She testified that people who have had an enormous amount of grief may be confused and choose to save their loved ones from the pain they're suffered.

Oh Pleaseeee !!:banghead:

Had to take dog out....did anybody ask about tattoos?

don't we have someone from London on here?
I have relatives there but I'm too embarrassed to ask them if they're following this case!

Waiting for all the posts about "magical thinking" :floorlaugh:

I hope she loses credibility in her professional life over this. She is disgracing her profession. She should be before a board of inquiry.

Just because she is a witness for the defense? if not why do you feel this way?

  • #3,511
Thats why they went after her - because she testified in the Susan Smith trial.

  • #3,512
Without knowing the facts of this case how can this witness keep testifying

  • #3,513
Magical thinking...

  • #3,514
I don't think the DT expect the question about Susan Smith to come in, and Sally Karoth's answer didn't help their theory.

  • #3,515
Well, at least JP is allowing JA the same WIDE latitude ............ so far

Thank you. I know this is not about me and I'm not gonna hi-jack the thread, but I have to say this testimony has made me sob and weep worse than anything in this trial so far...even worse that Caylee's little playhouse...

because I DO know what it is like to experience loss after loss after loss (my mom died two months before my son and I lost a brother before that to suicide)

I'm sorry for the TMI, I'm just home alone and needed to share and know ya'll are safe to share with....this woman is making me crazy!

Thank goodness my grief counselor was so much better and reasonable than this woman.

I cannot believe she's even being allowed...I agree this is post-verdict, sentencing stuff.

Oh,Gosh,Fourish! I'm so sorry.

I've been posting about my experience ,too, because I think it may shed light on what's happening.
I haven't been crying ,though,cuz I'm so :furious:

I wish I could help you!

Baez moves to sit in between Casey and Sims
by Gabe Travers/WESH.com at 4:00 PM

Ashton: Denial is emotionally refusing to accept the loss. Karioth: Yes, that's part of it. #caseyanthony

#CaseyAnthony jurors 17 and 18 smiled and chatted as sidebar bagan. Other jurors were dead silent.

Bringing out the fact that the witness testified in the Susan Smith trial...............let me say it again JA is Brilliant!!!

  • #3,519
This "expert" certainly is putting her degree in Theater into good use. Look how she keeps mugging to the jury! What I get from her is that she is really impressed with herself and loves the sound of her own voice. She is mostly just an "excuse" expert. EVERYTHING is a-okay with her....

Sooo basically people can behave any way when they are grieving. There's no way to tell if they are grieving or not. Therefore, we don't KNOW if KC was grieving or not.

Thanks for nothing lady.

Respectfully, I dont think that's (imo) what she's saying? But her dang rambliest ramble that ever rambled is making it sound/seem that way. sheesh

moo

and my signal is out dammit :) catching up via other venues.
