She's got nothing as a defense.. This is all she's got.. she is shooting blanks

Agreed. Throw everything on the wall to see what sticks. So far, nothing.

"Compulsive shower curtain changing"? BK is just plain weird. Probably a lot of other fancy psychological terms. But, since there were so many terms on the list we can't use....this will suffice.

Probably to be stricken tomorrow. She is probably reading our comments religiously each night.

Yes, the fine motor skills angle equals completely irrelevant BS imo. Hard to believe it's come to this.

Still processing the defense's now proven shady alibi dealings with JJJ's court, given they must have known that his phone was off since the forensic report on said phone ie some time in 2023!. Sy Ray was always a red herring and a distraction. They were hoping to 'find' ( ie manufacture moo) an alibi from random white sedan video footage is my guess. Seem to have come up with nix in that regard too. Partial 'alibi,' corroboration my a*@. Jmo

weirdly enough its actually not very easy to stab someone especially with a big blade. if the blade is really thin and has a very sharp point its easy enough.if its a big blade you need to have the point in exactly the right place. sorry for the grim details. i'm thinking the defence might state he does not have the dexterity and strength of grip to be able to do as is alleged. the prosecutions counter should simply be that plunging a knife downward from above onto a prone person is not difficult and does not need great strength or dexterity. yeh really sorry for the grim details. next bit is extra grim but with two people in the room and one more or less waiting for him to move onto her means she probably wasn't prone when attacked. we also have the indication that ethan was standing when attacked, so whats the likelihood that someone built like ethan was able to be subdued by a slight kohberger?

this is all hypothetical and me just trying to put myself in the defences shoes. sorry for the grim details.
He literally had a job cutting up fish in the past. He can use a knife.

What an interesting question.
I googled it and basically it said no. It said something like there isn't a standard feature or application on phones that keeps a log of photo view counts.
Ahhh, but there is. The iPhone keeps great logs that are accessible with the software LE uses to get info from the phone. Cellebrite is an extremely powerful tool and pictures accessed would be logged. MOO.

I've previously stated that I believe (JMO) they quite a bit of info from his phone.

Well but wasn't he fired from the job for bad dexterity?

Yeah, but there's degrees. I'd imagine most of us couldn't filet a fish well or neatly enough for a job, but wouldn't find it beyond us physically to stab someone.

For the above reasons, the State request the Court prohibit defense counsel from making any

reference to the State “attempting to kill” the Defendant (or similar phrases).

03/21/2025 NewStates Reply to Defendants Response to Motion in Limine RE Improper Death Penalty Comments
I like to see that the State is now doing the same thing the D has been trying to do-----asking for suppression of certain terms and negative suggestions used in front of the jury.

The D wants to suppress terms such as 'Psychopath' and 'Bushy eyebrows.'

The State wants to suppress comments like ' The prosecutor wants to kill our client. 'The state wants to murder My Kohberger'

DP/Disclosure Violations

Stop the Irony Bus

AT drafts a 34 page response to argue that the State gave them just too too much discovery, so much they can't get through it all.

Whiny.

JMO
Has she asked for funds for additional paralegals to sort it? Or just left it unlooked at?

The State got this and she knows it. She is setting for an appeal and to get him out of the death penalty.

Stabbing is not a fine motor skill in any case. Putting a mask on takes more dexterity. Yes, BK was not prepared for the level of scrutiny a quadruple murder will fund.
It leads me to think maybe a SA or a single murder was his intention as he probably would have gotten away with that as his DNA was not in CODIS which he knew, and taking what he thought were sufficient precautions against leaving DNA as criminals do now.

Does any one what the Erie scribble is about? I can not find anything on it.

Agree, her only objective is avoiding DP at this point.

so Bryan was never going to be a brain surgeon... so what..? he's not precluded from stabbing sprees..
that's absurd...he is 100 percent capable of stabbing and physically overcoming four young and healthy adults with a Kabar knife. mOO

Especially when they were asleep. A blitz attack like that. I doubt that they even have many defensive wounds.

And he definitely had the dexterity to place individual personal items in individual plastic bags???

"Compulsive shower curtain changing"?

That must have been why there was footage of him going to Costco, so he could buy them in bulk.

But wait, he didn't get in because he's not a member.

(Seriously, do they have the receipts to show he obsessively bought shower curtains? I have not read all the filings.)

I’m curious too about the line “ compulsive shower curtain changing” , where did this come from?

Thanks in advance

  • #219
Yeh, LOL... nothing that a jolt of adrenaline won't fix. Easy to dispel this fleeting "effort" by the defense.
Not to mention that BK bought the knife and it seems unlikely a person buys a knife like that with the intention of using it as a paperweight.
