I am guessing the glass slider door. Maybe, if it was unlocked, super easy. We had one in our home, similar age to that house. It didn't even have a lock on it..

Yeh, and the lock can get broke easily if the lock is clicked and the sliding door slammed. Which could easily happen during any kind of party at a college house.

Even locked, most, of that type, can be gotten into in 10 seconds or less. Not going to post them here, but check out YouTube videos showing how easy it is. I lived in a house once, that had one, and I have done it, which is why I put a dowel rod in mine to help secure it. JMO

The trial will tighten up the timeline but whole we wait with incomplete data, perhaps it went like this:

4am XK gets her food, eats it. At 4:11, she brings it to the kitchen, the slider is open, there's a bag at the base of the door. Walks toward her room to tell EC there's someone there. BK overtakes her in at her door, it's okay, I'm here to help. Whimper. He injured her badly, leaves her for dead. Only she's not dead. She's now crying... on the floor, perhaps misidentified the crying as coming from the bathroom, but it was really function of XK being in the ground, crying into the floorboards. :(

Perhaps, after killing MM and KG, BK returned to the 2nd level, heard XK crying and, knife in hand, returning to deliver fatal injuries, it was then he saw EC, had to neutralize them in order to escape.

We'll never know but I do wonder what reconnaissance he may have done upon arrival. Did he know or think he knew who was home, who was in whose rooms, ldid he have any contingencies worked out? Just expected it would go as he mentally planned for it?

He took such primitive counter measures, you'd think his coursework would have served him better.

Glad it didn't.

Regardless of how one feels about capital punishment, if ever someone deserved the death penalty, I cannot imagine anyone more deserving than BK. JMO
RSBM

OT but I’m going to add & that will be the end of it from me.

AFAIAC, Richard Allen should be & I haven’t followed the Lori Vallow Daybell case close enough to know if she is already but she & her guy Chad & any other conspirators would make good candidates as well. The unfortunate thing is most sit on DR for years if not decades on our dime before their time comes.

That. Stare. FREAKS. ME. OUT.
He reminds me of a reptile or amphibian. Always looks like he’s going to shed his skin or morph into something or could regrow limbs or a tail. Complete creep.

Wonder if those woolly bears are close to changing into Isabella tiger moths yet? Maybe that’s why he’s shrinking - going into a pupae stage.🤔🤔🤔

This is what I got out of the above post:

1. D.M. stated she was awoken at approximately 4:00 a.m. by what she stated sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog the upstairs bedroom.

2. A short time later, while still laying down, D.M. said she heard something to the effect of "there's someone here."

3. D.M. stated she looked out of her bedroom but did not see anything .

4. D.M. heard crying coming from XK's room so she opened her door a second time.

5. While it was open D.M. heard a male voice say something to the effect of "it's ok, I'm going to help you."

6. At approximately 4:17 a.m., a security camera, picked up distorted audio of what sounded like:
*voices or a
*whimper
*followed by a loud thud.
*A dog can also be heard barking numerous times starting at 4:17 a-m.

7. D.M. heard crying opened her door a third time and saw a figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking towards her. The male walked towards the back sliding glass door.

He either completely underestimated the variables at a college party house, or he fully expected it and was gonna kill anything in his way in and on his way out. This is assuming he had a target upstairs

The prosecution plans to show the jury an assignment BK completed at DeSales University called "Crime-scene Scenario Final." Prosecutors want to use this to show the jury BK's knowledge of crime scenes.

BK's 12-page report gives a step-by-step guide on how to process a crime scene. The report also references the equipment required for the investigation, including gloves to protect the scene from contamination.

Bushy eyebrow ruckus? Let the jury decide.....

Defense wants the eyebrows banished from trial claiming:

The description given by D.M. is unreliable.
She only saw the intruder briefly.
Her recollection or lack thereof is filled with uncertainty.
Fuzziness.
Influence of alcohol.
Dreaming.
Sleepiness.
Jury could put too much weight on the bushy eyebrows description and convict him.

Prosecution says they plan to show BK's selfie that morning to show his eyebrows and that "Whether or not Bryan Kohberger can be described as having 'bushy eyebrows' is a factual determination to be decided by the jury."

D.M. used the term "bushy" to describe the intruder's eyebrows five times.
"I just remember, like, bushy eyebrows. That's all I could think about," the witness said on November 17.

Although the judge said she was likely drunk during the murders (DM admits to being drunk and blurry not remembering everything) he explained that her statements to investigators on three separate occasions included a "notably similar" description of the suspect. Plus, other evidence corroborated her timeline and the suspect's description, Hippler found, and leaving her confusion out of the affidavit did not impact probable cause.

Thank you @gremlin444 for your post. I shortened it. Then I went back and dded in Red where I felt BK and Xana were.

-----------------------

4:10 BK opens the slider, walk through to the stairs, goes up the stairs, kills MM. But KG fights back. Her nose is broken and she is stabbed.

1. D.M. stated she was awoken at approximately 4:00 a.m. by what she stated sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog the upstairs bedroom.

4:12 Xana walks to the kitchen and sees slider open...

2. A short time later, while still laying down, D.M. said she heard Xana say something to the effect of "there's someone here."

Xana is startled by BK, she runs inside her room...

3. D.M. stated she looked out of her bedroom but did not see anything .

Xana is attacked in her room, she is crying. Ethan is awakened. BK has to deal with Ethan...

4. D.M. hears crying coming from XK's room so she opened her door a second time.

BK turns back to Xana says "it's ok I'm going to help you."
I think she had pulled herself up.

5. While ithe door is open D.M. heard a male voice say something to the effect of "it's ok, I'm going to help you."

Xana fought him. He attacked her again violently.

He either threw her against the wall or she fell at 4:17.

6. At approximately 4:17 a.m., a security camera, picked up distorted audio of what sounded like:
*voices or a
*whimper
*followed by a loud thud.
*A dog can also be heard barking numerous times starting at 4:17 a-m.

7. D.M. heard crying [again], opened her door a third time and saw a figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking towards her. The male walked towards the back sliding glass door.

I have always wondered how BK planned to get into the house that night. Most people have their doors locked at 4 am and are asleep. If that was the case, what was his plan to get inside? Did he know they left the slider open all night? How would he know that though? Had he already previously come into the house in the early hours of the morning? Did he have access to Xana's email and knew she ordered door dash? He drove over because he thought it would be easy to gain access after a delivery?

He's got some good zingers, said in such a Judge-like voice.

You know, I thought Judge Newman was going to be my forever judge crush, but JH is really pretty adorable (not to mention dignified and quick with comebacks).

Is it okay to have two judge crushes? 😍😍

Sliding doors really are INCREDIBLY easy to jimmy open unless you have a dowel in them like SteveP mentioned. If his apartment had a balcony or patio he could have even practiced on his own.

I do not believe he had any access to any digital surveillance that would show him food delivery information.
This was a coincidence that a food delivery happened at the time he came there.

I think it is over 20 times his phone pinged on the King Rd cell tower and I think most times were in the middle of the night.

He could have easily tested the doors and windows a dozen times. I think he consistently found the back second floor slider to be unlocked. And/or, consistently found the front door unlock. It has been reported that the house occupants were not using the security lock/code on the front door.

2 Cents

If your judge crush is a tie between Judge Hippler and Judge Newman, maybe you need Judge Judge to judge which judge judges better before you judge judges for yourself.

It is a gift to justice that this Judge is on this case. As much as I despise BK for what he's done, he's entitled to a fair trial, and Judge Hippler is laser focused, determined to see that he does.

And that counsel behave like officers of the court.
