4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #108

Can sometime translate the title of that Objection-- are they objectioning to the release or are they objecting to being called out? Is it related to the Dateline "leaks"? Are they answering the State who wants to see their work and they don't want to show it?
I am going to take a guess this is somehow related to health/mental health issues of BK, possibly interviews from people who knew BK (family, friends, teachers, doctors) that helped supply information for their Expert Witnesses. Just a gut feeling.

It's not lost on me that AT ranted and raved about the GGI results for months on end, demanding work product that the State wasn't even in possession of because it was not released to them by the FBI. This went on forever through a Marathon of Motions until she was somewhat satisfied that she had squeezed every last drop of blood from the proverbial turnip.

Show me yours, but I'm not going to show you mine. AT's more like a Pitt Bull instead of a Honey Badger to me. No ineffective council here folks and I'm begrudgingly okay with that. ;)

^^^ @girlhasnoname You nailed it. TYVM. ^ bbm^

Maybe more like ----
an Ultra-Marathon of Motions than an (ordinary) Marathon of Motions?

eta ICYMI
(Ultra = commonly 100 miles, not just 26)

"Idaho students who discovered bloodbath break silence ahead of critical Bryan Kohberger hearing"

Published: 11:01 EDT, 13 June 2025 | Updated: 11:25 EDT, 13 June 2025

"Emily Alandt and Hunter Johnson had been called over to the house on the morning of November 13, 2022, by the two surviving roommates who were unable to reach their friends and were scared something bad had taken place."

"Alandt and Johnson are now speaking out for the very first time about the day that their friends were brutally murdered in Prime Video’s upcoming four-part docuseries ‘One Night in Idaho: The College Murders.

"In the newly-released trailer, the students speak about the moment they made the heartbreaking discovery - and the chilling realization that their group of friends could have been ‘stalked’ for months."

I think you're right.

AT doesn't want her experts to generate reports because that's discovery and the State is entitled to see it and from there challenge it with experts of their own.

Instead AT seems to be hiding behind experts who will talk in sweeping generalities about how people with certain diagnoses think and move and act, providing after-dotal theory about how BK might have been diagnosed as a child, without inviting scrutiny from the State. If AT didn't get "reports" from these "experts" and she's calling their notes "work product", she is going to break her face with hypocrisy.

Plus it tells me she didn't eat her experts to look too hard, lest they diagnose him with personalty disorders which won't make him more likable and won't save him from the DP because people with PDs aren't a protected class.

...and THIS is exactly why this trial needs to not be continued. Continuing it is not going to distance potential jurors from widespread publicity about the murders, and provide time for publicity to die down, but it is only going to allow time for even more to be revealed, as news articles, new interviews, investigative news programs, documentaries, and books continue to be churned out in the ramp-up to this trial, that truly has gripped the nation.

In the words of the state, "It's time to try this case." JMO

Let us not forget that AT sought the delay that moved the trial from right now to end of summer. More time creates more opportunity for media (over)exposure. Doesn't automatically disqualify every last juror, that's what voir dire is for, to seat a jury who can be impartial.

If he granted her a month or two reprieve in order to go below the scorched earth to explore hell itself in the hopes of finding a magic alibry or mystery twin, she'd have to contend with more media saturation, for which she'd complain vociferously, demanding new investigations, sanctions and delays.... merry go round.

The time is now.

It seems that is what she really wants. Time for more "prejudicial' information to get out there so she can object and continue on and on. It's not a bad plan if you have a guilty client.

Exactly. Because the only place in the whole solar universe where he's still innocent is on this side of a trial, where he's still protected from the DP.

its that strained, stressed almsot buzzed look people get when their has been serious mental deterioration. i think it ma be when people dont get enough dopamine and serotonin in the system. ive seen it before on people including myself and i can remember vividly taht you just dont enjoy anything anymore. cant chat, laugh with people, you get no benefit from exercise anything really, cant really enjoy the bedroom, you hate evrything. he didnt have that specific look when younger. thats more recent is my guess.

Too much internet.

More time as yet unconvicted.

Unfortunately, AT (whom I despise defending because I’m terrified she’s going to somehow get BK off) doesn’t have a choice. The penalty phase immediately follows the guilt phase of the trial. That, of course, sets up the tricky issue of searching for mitigating factors for someone you claim is factually innocent.

Look, I think something is wrong with the brains of criminals, and whatever this is may not be their fault. But it doesn’t matter who or what is at fault. Violent people are dangerous and we law-abiding people must be protected from them.

Also, society won’t work if we don’t hold adults accountable for their behavior, whatever caused it. Isn’t that the definition of being an adult?

IMO justice demands that people who commit heinous acts like the Idaho murders must be punished severely, not only to allay the understandable thirst for vengeance of the loved ones left behind, but to create a possible path for redemption of the perpetrator (if an ounce of humanity remains in him) and forgiveness for the family (even Steve Goncalves said he and his wife would forgive BK after he is justly punished: ‘We will forgive him’.)

The key, IMO, is to do all we can to prevent a child from developing into a violent adult in the first place. Because after that, most are lost causes IMO.
Yes, people forget the "forgiveness" comes after consequences and amends. You can't forgive who aren't sorry. Probably going to prison for life or the DP might stand in for actual remorse.

Forgive. No, maybe pity someone so sick and twisted as a creepy freak.

If BK murdered my child or now my grandchildren, I would neither forgive nor pity.

In fact, the only moment of serenity left to me would be watching as he is put to death.

Or short of that, knowing that the prison doors have clanged shut on him for the rest of his natural life.

Just my true opinion.

Exactly. I don't believe that you have to forgive as some people state. Some crimes are just unforgiveable. That's giving the murderer a pass.
