Says she can't say more about this alibi until she gets the discovery.

Says she has experts. But they can't be experty without CAST information.

Absurd.

The experts need to know where the State says the car was so her experts can... what? ... invent where driving-around BK drove?

Absolutely, and if we can figure that out without all of the evidence, the jury will be able to as well.

She's desperate to delay as long as possible because her client is going to get the DP or LWOP.

I must say I'm a little surprised Judge JJ is playing into her antics as much as he is, especially the IGG info. and the chance for a new alibi deadline, but I guess he's leaning on the side of caution because it is a DP case.

As long as BK remains in jail, it doesn't matter for the general public how long it takes for the trial to take place. Yes, I do feel for the families for this to drag out more, but BK is exactly where he belongs.. behind bars.

Pretty miserable in the circumstances he is in. It is a puny jail, ridiculously small so offers no normal typical jobs for the inmates who are long term. It sits in the basement of the courthouse.

I'm not surprised BK wasn't in a hurry to waive his speedy trial right because BK can't even have normal conversations with inmates. Can't interact in any way with them in the common room like play cards, board game, discuss news, watch TV or movies and he even eats alone in his cell when other inmates have meals in the common room.

Kohberger is kept isolated from other inmates in one of 4 isolation cells. He has access to his own television with basic cable. That television is positioned just outside the bars of his cell where a guard controls the channels. The other inmates watch TV in a common room together where a guard controls the channels.

So no matter that he is socially awkward, even loner types need some human contact.

Kohberger is permitted to attend church services in a multipurpose room at the tiny jail. He is allowed to be in the room along with other inmates, but is not allowed to interact with them. .

Kohberger also has access to a tablet that has older movies that he can watch if he pays five cents per minute and can also pay to use the tablets to make video calls or access email. There is a phone with a headset for privacy on the wall down from his cell by a metal table.

The jail's library consists of reading books and a complete set of Idaho Code books and Federal Code books for legal research.There is an outside recreation yard walled off from onlookers.

Bryan Kohberger is being kept away from other inmates for...

As much as I feel for the families, I do agree with the sentiment of doing it right.

I don't follow how they can be allowed to decide on the alibi based on the evidence held by the prosecution

It is HIS attorney that is delaying his trial. She can't even give HIS alibi until she sees what the FBI has.

No one is rushing.
BK was asserting his right to a speedy until the last minute and the time expired. Then after 8 months after relinquishing the right to a speedy trial his attorney is turning around and saying she hasn't even reviewed the evidence.
