AT is arguing that the questions in the survey were in the public record -- from the PCA. Wow. She's not even saying mainstream media. She's saying the PCA fed the media.

State is saying that of those 400 many would not have been aware of all those news stories -- fact specific questions which innoculated them with information they didn't already have.
AT says that at this rate we will never get to trial.
AT wants BE to explain to the judge before making his decision.

Thompson says the people who were called didn't necessarily have all of the facts or an awareness of all of the rumors in this case. Judge says the questions have nothing to do with guilt, innocence or even the truth, and this situation has to be fixed.

I feel like I'm being boozebammled.
If the PCA was spread far and wide and media coverage saturated the area, how does that support BE's questions?
Shouldn't he have asked questions to ascertain how saturated the community was by asking 400 people what they were aware of, not by providing the information to them?
His survey methodology is solid. I think the particular questions were rogue and he knows it and she knows it.
I am weary because I fear what's next. She'll say this all cost her prep time and now she needs a continuance.
