Are you thinking that he kept/hid the one he used on the girls? I wonder where.I'm thinking the box cutter he threw away had no connection to the crime or girls.

I think most of the attorneys following this and commenting on the trial are primarily concerned with whether RA is receiving a fair trial. They/we are concerned that his constitutional rights have been violated and he is not being afforded due process.
RSBMHis psychologist would not, and did not, have access to his discovery.
It’s clear she doesn’t want to believe he did this, so she attributes this to him losing his mind. When he does try and confess, she shuts him down, trying to convince him that what’s he’s saying isn’t true.I don't know it sounds like he was talking about regular things during the calls.. church and finding god, asking someone to thank a doctor for him. He makes a statement of guilt and he's met with "they are getting to you" "no you didn't" "just quit talking" The good thing is the jury head the entire call so they can form their opinion if the entire call was nonsense or if it wasn't. Sounds like he was seeking reassurance from her and he didn't get it.
It’s understandable if you realize he was completely out of his mind - like he says on all of these calls.I will never understand him confessing and the person he trusted most in the world just completely dismissing him.

I don’t believe the LYK believes in the Odin stuff. He is well spoken and pleasing to the eyes! IMOSo those people believe the Odinist theory? I think I'll take a pass on their podcast.
She accessed info about KK when she found out he had been considered a suspect.RSBM
Do we know what is contained within IDOC databases that she improperly accessed? I don’t know what this implies or means TIA
Thanks- do we know if she also accessed info about RA?She accessed info about KK when she found out he had been considered a suspect.
The final nail hit the coffin lid a long time ago for me, but the confirming data just keeps on coming.
No mention of van in police reports or discovery
I don’t think she did. Only KK was mentioned.Thanks- do we know if she also accessed info about RA?

No, he’s a plaintiff’s lawyer in civil cases. Lawyer Lee is a mediator in civil cases.
ETA: Neither of them have indicated they believe the Odinist theory but they believe RA should be allowed to put in his defense.
What I find interesting thought is he doesn't say, "I read the discovery and they are pinning it on me" or anything like that. He speaks about reading the bible, being sorry, and realizing he needs to let her (Kathy) go. I think this could be seen as someone taking accountability and accepting their fate. Would someone who is doing this because they are mentally tortured by being in prison really be able to think through all those aspects of it? Would they want to apologize to the families would they ask if their family still loves them? I think if he has an awareness that this will hurt his family and how his actions have hurt the victims families, but somehow he is saying he did it because he lost tough with reality? Sounds pretty grounded to me with the things he is mentioning. It’s clear she doesn’t want to believe he did this, so she attributes this to him losing his mind. When he does try and confess, she shuts him down, trying to convince him that what’s he’s saying isn’t true.
So she’s basically encouraging him to play up the mental health stuff, which I’m definitely not disputing the existence of.
He’d feel compelled to mirror her sentiments, and talk about what’s going on mentally, regardless of the veracity of that.
He’s terrified of losing his family, and would thus say things to appease them.
All that to say that the waters are muddied by the dynamic there.

Did Dr. Wala testify to this or is this rumor and speculation?Yes, I agree. Something was going on with him from a young age. I don't know what to make of some of his statements about who did things to him and who he did things to (other than Abby and Libby), but those might be matters for different charges later or SOL might have ran out, I don't know Indiana's laws on that. It sounds like he could be the victims in some things at a young age and maybe that shaped who he became as far as what he's done now. It seems it went from a point when he was underage (babysitter, grandparent, sister, friends he talked about things happening) and then to 2010 with alcohol issues and mental health struggles and sex addiction. So there is like 25 years between things he said happened in childhood and when he is on the bridge on 2/13..
It’s understandable if you realize he was completely out of his mind - like he says on all of these calls.
Bolded by me - this is the best part of your comment. Very good questions. We need the full context of these calls. Was he lucid? Was he coherent? What other things did they discuss and what was his mental state then? Was he responding logically?
Because yes, on their own they don’t seem to help the prosecution, as they do paint a picture of a guy whose mental health has declined a great deal.
I continue to believe that had his wife encouraged him, he would have given it up and pleaded guilty though.
