There are only a few commenters in these threads that will evaluate this case fairly. The majority have had their minds made up since the arrest, that he is guilty.
As is our right like the ones here who think RA is innocent. Neither groups are jurors and we are entitled to our opinions based on the evidence as we interpret it. Thank goodness free thinking is still acceptable.

Yep, that’s why I keep saying-no one even described the person they saw as short. RA is 5’4 and if you they saw him I have zero doubt they would have remembered that much

I saw him back in July of this year when he was being escorted - I was actually surprised at how short he was with those towering guards. First time seeing his height!

With him being so short I would have thought that would've been a description used by the witnesses as well.

I had to run out. So the state rested their case after the judge didn’t allow that video? Was there anything after that? TIA

Yes, but I wouldn’t expect them in “solitary confinement.”
Why not??

How do you propose prison staff manage behaviour of a prisoner with nothing? Staff assaults increase when you take away support systems.

EXACTLY! Also why I am so frustrated with the prosecution for not getting the height of BG validated - considering they have nothing else

It is *extremely rare* for someone to be playing with or eating their own feces as part of a protest. They might save some and throw it at guards but they're not rolling around in it.
Not if they are trying to present themselves as 'crazy'. That would be an ideal way to suggest it. Funny is the timing of all these mental breakdowns, psychotic episodes and confessions.

They only happened after Defendant Allen was served with the State's Discovery, which was dropped off by an assistant and not even given to him in person by his own Defense Team. What the what????

Did you see the testimony where RA told a guard, "Well I won't be doing that again," with regards to smearing/eating feces?

I’m not criticizing him having the tablet, I’m criticizing the argument that the way he was held was meant to be punitive, as some have alleged.

I think some of us who haven't been to prison, me included, pictured solitary confinement as being a small concrete room alone in the dark for days or weeks at a time with no other human contact save a surly guard bringing food once or twice a day.

But it sounds as if the solitary RA was subjected to actually was more of a protective custodial type of solitary. He had his tablet, he had regular phone calls with loved ones (when they would agree to take them), he had his "companion prisoners" watching him to ensure he didn't harm himself, and he had Dr. Wala. Not quite what I was thinking when defense described him as being in solitary and his days being devoid of human contact.
Well no. It’s not like that….maybe in the movies of yesteryear but progression and all that!

There are Odinist guards in the county jails, too. The guards aren't exactly friendly to RA.
Is this rumor or do you have something proving this as fact?

Can that be done? I wonder.

Maybe it has and it just hasn't been brought into evidence.

It’s also a good way to record inmates’ conversations- moo

No the punishment is being incarcerated. Prisoners are not then further punished….behaviour is managed. And he’s not even convicted!!

I wouldn't put it past this defense team to use Odinist symbols (instead of connecting dots) to suggest SODDI. I better brush up on my rune learning now. ;)

Yes, after reading the description of his cell, amenities and activities, he was not in solitary confinement. Solitary is sensory deprivation for long periods of time. A small room with 24 hr a day lights and almost no contact with the outside world. No books, tv bed, windows, nothing.

I feel like the public has been lied to by the D, claiming he was in solitary. He wasn't.

Intentionally withholding exculpatory evidence is grounds for serious sanctions.

There is no evidence of this whatsoever.

Definitely can be

It’s as if the prosecution is doing everything they can to show the jury they have nothing proving it! It’s honestly kinda weird
Your opinion, certainly not mine and many others here.

IMO

It's not exculpatory evidence but the prosecution literally tried to submit evidence in the form of a video today without providing it during discovery, that's unacceptable

When was a prisoner last in those conditions? 1950’s?
