Free tips within my council area. But EP had weekly bin collections, so why would you go to the tip to drop a small amount of cardboard and a garbage bag, I wonder? 🤔
Cardboard is free to dispose of at the Leongatha tip, as are other recyclables. Kitchenware is specifically excluded.

Could she have bundled the items up with free recyclables to evade tip fees?

How can you see that she was wearing white gloves?

If you look at her hands in the video at the tip, you can see that she is wearing white gloves. They practically light up.

She isn't in the first clip when she's disposing of the cardboard. Maybe the second clip when she's disposing of the box (of plates)?

CCTV. Others have mentioned it here so I checked.
There's an image from a high angle of her hand on the wheel. Will find for you.

Seeing that doctor choke up talking about Heather and saying he imagined her spirit supporting Ian in court . .. drives home to me how awful these deaths were. Doctors see a lot of horrible stuff. For this guy to cry like that... this must have been something else.

Also I assume its the most enraging feeling for a healer to be confronted with a killer.
I can understand how he felt / feels, on one hand he has two ( also knowing that there were 2 other patients also at another local hospital ) patients Heather & Ian that are critically ill that he is desperately trying to keep alive & than on the other hand he had Erin , who could have provided vital life saving information for Ian & Heather, but instead wasted his time & lied to him. She did not even acknowledge her beloved relatives that were dying probably meters from her while she was in the ED.

He was also so worried about her kids, that he called the police & she couldn't have cared any less IMO

It'd be pretty horrendous having 2 patients who you are doing everything to save their lives ( without knowing exactly what is the cause of their rapid demise ) , than also having the person you suspect of causing their demise being purposefully obstructive.

What a crap position to be in.

But Dr Webster you really are a hero in all this , calling the police & doing the absolute best for your patients with essentially your hands tied behind your back.

Heather thanked you & so do I

Erin is nothing but a cold blooded triple murderer.

EVIL personified!

So from a previous visit, we know that Erin visited the tip a minimum of 6 times in a 10 month period. 2 of these visits were only 2 days apart, so they are likely part of the same tip-run.

Of course, we have since found out today that she made at least one more visit: 30 minutes after the lunch ended. This is another extremely coincidental event. I even looked at the days, because I know that I usually go on the weekend, but in fact Erin usually went in the week.

From the Daily Mail article, it mentioned cardboard (including the dehydrator box) and a binbag. It doesn't seem likely the cardboard was hiding anything so why did she take it? Was it to make it look less conspicuous, did she care so little that she carried on doing errands or is it actually just a coincidence.

And one more thing: do Aussies really have to pay to go to the tip?
Some tips have fees. Others don't. It depends on the local Councils.

Is there any actual evidence of her being a qualified accountant? Given it's a 3 year (full term) university degree & we only have her word to go by.

I know Simon indicated that she is, but for all we know she could have done a tafe book keeping course & passed it off as either an accounting qualification or 'working as an accountant', which he may not have questioned.

Looking at the FTB & CSA information given in the trial, she did zero research & bluffed her victims - Then was outraged when the outcome was not in her favour. Account for yourself, Erin! 😜
If Simon stated that she was an Accountant, she must have been. He’s an Engineer, he wouldn’t confuse qualifications. Also, she’s considered ‘highly intelligent’, her mother was a uni lecturer and author, her sister appears to be an academic, I suspect there was a high level of expectation around formal education.

I’ve known Accountants to complete degrees at uni and certs at TAFE. I’d say that it depends what you intend to practice . Iam sure there were online/distance options as it’s a theoretical field, it wouldn’t require attendance.

As an independently wealthy woman, she didn’t need to work but still appeared to work in varying fields. I suspect she got bored quickly and continued to study to challenge herself and likely an internal drive from her upbringing.

I really felt for him. Seems like a great small community GP.

Maybe there is a trash can in that hallway?
There may have been others going up and down that hallway, I can see her disposing of whatever it was in a bin in an empty hallway. I would wonder whether whoever emptied the bins would have noticed something unusual in there, but maybe they just didn't care or think it was worthy of attention. Considering this was before she was arrested but unsure of when she was a POI at this stage.

Hold on, that second CCTV clip dated 2nd August 2023 is Erin disposing of the food dehydrator, not plates.

<modsnip: Removed personalizing comments> She disposed of the box for the appliance that she used to kill 3 people, 30 minutes after she administered it to them. She had this appliance for MONTHS, and only decided to dispose of the box straight after the lunch. I highly doubt she was thinking “oh it’ll be much easier to dispose of this box at the tip” and was likely thinking “it’s less traceable at the tip.”

IMO, MOO
<modsnip: Quoted post was modsnipped>

A trip to the tip would have been untraceable 15 years ago. CCTV, number plate recognition and eftpos payment is hardly secretive.

In Leongatha, residents have access to kerbside recycling collection, with specific bins provided for this purpose. These bins typically have a yellow lid and are for collecting recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, plastics (with codes 1-7), glass, steel, and aluminum. For larger amounts of waste, including for businesses, skip bins and dumpsters are also available from waste management services in the area.
Thanks for the local info

I don't know where they got 9 seconds from? She was in there a few seconds at the most.

It's a very conservative estimate

Wow. The plates being dumped is huge evidence but I'm not surprised that the defense was able to exclude it from the trial. It is honestly a bit hard to tell what she's throwing away, I do believe it was the plates though. The fact they didn't fit is a tell. Plus all the other cutlery would have done that. She really is evil
In the clip dated 2nd August 2023, she's disposing of the dehydrator.

The CCTV clip has the time in the corner of the recording, I did actually count it to be around 9 seconds but it does include her entering and leaving.

Plate packaging, cutlery, etc imo

Maybe there is a trash can in that hallway?

That was my immediate thought, but then I recalled there is a bin either side of the entry into the service station.

Considering that Australians have three large bins at home - one for general waste, one for recycling, and one for green waste - Erin used the rubbish dump facilities more than I would have thought was necessary. Especially when you have to pay to dump stuff at the rubbish dump.

And (she said) she had a skip bin delivered annually to get rid of other hard rubbish - like Phone A.

imo
Especially when she lived in a very large house and had a skip bin 😳

Although, supposedly Erin's accounting work experience was from before Simon met her. So would he have personal knowledge, or would he just be going off what she told him? I mean, we know she's a compulsive liar, so I certainly wouldn't be surprised if she gave herself unearned qualifications to impress him.

I imagine it will all come out eventually. No doubt there will be books written that will examine her past and unravel all her lies.

Edit - Also, just to add that Erin didn't become wealthy until her mother and grandmother died. When she was supposedly doing the accounting job, she would have still needed the paycheck to live on.
