Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #3

What I don’t understand is if you have saved 1000s to make your escape why not just take a cab to the airport? Strange to involve those you are escaping from by asking for a lift.
I think she was killed at the home or elsewhere and the airport run was fictitious or with a body onboard.
Also surprised that JW has a family support network ( found at mothers) had thought someone that depraved and evil would have had some sort of terrible upbringing
IMO
There are no taxis in Gin Gin. There is an errand lady who will take you to Bundy but it depends on her availability.

I’ve been trying to make sense of that statement:

3 arrived, 3 never left

But I think you’re onto something

I'm trying to make sense of that comment too, but I'm not reading anything between the lines. 3 were in the car when they got there, 3 didn't exit the car at that location. That means she must have first been dumped, and likely killed, elsewhere. Could it mean 3 arrived, 3 never left, but 2 did? Time will tell I'm sure.

Only logical theory I have for it all

They drove her to the airport during an already stressful argumentative morning, he turns the car around and drives her straight back to Gin Gin, to be a *****
A physical fight erupts between the 3 of them at the house where the television is broken, possibly causing blunt force death.

That evening they take the body out to GNP with her belongings, in his own unregistered car.

Go back on the 16th to place her in another location.

The timeline matches for me personally
The accounts of the IGA incident and call to BF at 8.30ish and then the car seen at 10.30 back in Gin Gin.

That's my theory on it all.

The implications of the wild dogs & pigs being in GNSNP is just far too awful for me to think about
The real brutality was what was done to her by human beings.

Whatever the wildlife did after didn't cause her any pain. She was beyond feeling anything. The animals were just doing what they do to survive, without malice.

3 arrived, seen on CCTV

3 never left the car

That's what the police statement said

Once phone is turned off, it shows last location the phone was on

Theoretically then, her phone could have been turned off and thrown, before the car made its way back to the house, making it impossible for her to call anyone.
Did I miss Pheobe's mother's input regarding her whereabouts right back at the beginning? I know the phone hasn't been found but where did the tracking device give its last location? Do we know? Sorry if I've missed a discussion.

5. The last time Phoebe was seen alive was "that morning prior to arriving at the airport... prior to arriving at the BMX track. She was captured on CCTV with the two accused."

Thanks for listening and transcribing.

I wonder why the DI says prior to arriving at the BMX track, specifically. And not just keeping it as prior to arriving at the airport.

I think some of the media are doing a great job covering this case and getting out what information they can to avoid legalities

Without media, no one would have any details!
Media, Witnesses and timelines all make up a clearer picture.

If it wasn't for Media, cases like these would probably never be solved! Witnesses come forward when they read accounts from the media!

The DM who has been on the ground in Gin Gin from the start stated the call to PB boyfriend was made at around 8.30am BEFORE they left for Bundaberg

Absolutely!!!

If not for MSM media,
the posters on WS would have NOTHING to discuss.

Don't bite the hand that feed you!

Meaning
Don't criticize the Media
(Like calling a certain one "Fail", etc)
They are doing their job.

I’ve been confused with the different times reported too, but regardless, QPS (police) are super cryptic with many of their statements, for reasons I understand.

You are of course correct, time will reveal more.

That poor girl. All the people that wish she could have made it, all that kindness & empathy, how I wish she could have felt more of that side of people while she lived.

Do you know the statistics of how many people are in DV relationships that report it to police compared to the ones who don’t ? Statistics say around 60%

It has been stated by TB’s brother that she was in fact being beaten by JW. It’s pretty obvious to me that there relationship was violent.

For anyone who doesn’t understand the dynamics that can come into play when you bring DV/ drugs into a relationship, I’ll give you a quick run down from experience.
1. It’s not as easy as “she had the opportunity to leave” this can be either very unsafe given the lack of police care. It’s highly likely will either not show up, like seen in this case. Or they will downplay it, or put an AVO in place which is literally not stopping anything when you are dealing with an unhinged psychopath.
2. If you bring drugs into the mix, there is an added layer of addiction which is a disease and you will do absolutely anything to get your fix. Example- staying with someone who is violent because they supply you your drugs and you feel stuck because your addiction comes before everything including your safety.
3. Financial control. Sometimes people can’t leave because where will they go? Their partner has control of every aspect of their lives.
4. DV usually doesn’t just start with instantly getting hit. It’s usually a build up, a slow break down of your character and worth. Stripping the person who you once were to where you now accept things that happen to you with a hope that things may change.

Personally I think TB is a horrible person, she should have told the police the truth in the first interview. But I do however see a scenario in which at the time she felt like she had to go along with what was happening. I am being bias again with the thought that a woman wouldn’t kill another woman, which is probably naive of me, but my view on men has been very tainted by as I stated, experience in this world.
Well said.

Some of the statements have been so carefully worded as to end up convoluted. I take this one to mean that there is no trace beyond the BMX track... but I can't explain why 'prior to'. And the '3 arrived. 3 never left the car' one - that's just so strangely worded. Why not '3 arrived. 3 went away again' or some such? I think the police are understandably doing their best to keep the general public quiet with bits of information, without actually giving away anything of substance. But... IMHO the rather oblique statements are encouraging more speculation, rather than quietening it.

It may be that the car did not in fact enter the airport drop off area / parking lot.
Referencing the BMX track, and earlier saying that 3 persons were in the car and didn't exit the vehicle leads me to believe they have CCTV in that area (and could not confirm if all parties were alive)

The BMX track is just prior to the airport, opposite the Petrol station. There is a dirt road leading from Airport Drive to the Clubhouse.
If there is CCTV in that area it could be either the BMX club or the Petrol Station.

Samuels road is not a thoroughfare for any standard route. It is a little less than 1km in length and intersects at the main Eastbound road into Bundaberg. Knowing that CCTV captured them at the BMX club now makes me assume that Samuels road was visited after this fact. My theory stands but I believe the arguing escalated even further at this point. I would assume they threatened not to drop PB off and started heading back. This would have elicited a reaction which led to the Samuel Road detour and possibly her death. I think that is the only reasonable deduction with her presence being captured at the BMX club. To get there, they would have driven directly past the airport terminal entrance road.
Thank you.

Yes, but I listened to his actual words after @Spectrix posted the presser link and commented.

Have a listen at the 11:00 min mark in the video. The DI actually says exactly what was quoted before.

The last time Phoebe was seen alive was "that morning prior to arriving at the airport... prior to arriving at the BMX track. She was captured on CCTV with the two accused."

What does this even mean?
View attachment 592698Were they given a description of the area where Pheobe could be found? Or a photograph? As unlikely as that soundsd, why would they be looking for a 'mirror location' visually? Am I missing something, again?

I noticed that too. As if they had been given a description of the vehicle entering a track in that forest.
